After adding Mr nunb, that list hits like a truck. For those who flown Rac/ace in 1.0, it flies similar, as in i fly them separate make my opponent choose one of my ships to focus. It makes it easy to triger outmanuever. The bid is excessive but i really wanna move last. This list lives by outmanuevering, especially being a 2 ship list. Especially with the popularity of multiple int 5 pilots. Thank you for Reviewing my list! :)

Only issue I've found with Kanan is that he says 'While a friendly ship in your firing arc defends'. This means that he can not use his ability on himself, since you are not in your own firing arc.

The vcx and other large ships struggles against redline and bombers with munitions, maybe after the next points fix hopefully adjusts munitions larger ships will see more play

The VCX has 2 problems beyond teh obvious points problem it shares with all the other large base ships. 1. No defence die. - 14 hull/shield lasts no time at all if your opponent has the ability to manipulate attack dice (and EVERYONE can manipulate attack dice) 2. Reinforce weakens the Ghost's attack significantly, so you have to have a Co Ordinate ship or a way to pass focus to the Ghost or it's raw dice attacking, which you cannot afford to do in 2nd Ed. I play Hera with Nien Numb and Saw Garerra, but it's the glassyist of Glass Cannons, I had the very enjoyable experience of having a Tie Swarm kill a reinforced Ghost in one turn.

Hey glad you liked the list :D thank you for discussing it! I've flown it a fair bit and here are my opinions thus far: - a free coordinate from docked sheathipede is *VERY* powerful, especially combined with A-wing's vectored thrusters (side note: Arvel getting to reposition at initiative 5 is hilarious) - Nien Nunb should be stapled onto Hera, period. - Seasoned Navigator is situational; sometimes you come across super manoeuvrable ships, or players you haven't met before that you simply cannot predict with absolute certainty. SN is worth the points when relying on things like outmaneuver or with less friendly ships to bump into, maybe not so much this list. - If Ezra (gunner) was actually any good and worth the points, Seasoned Navigator would be a good way to force the stress for the reroll part of Ezra (gunner) by turning a white into a red. - Proton rockets can pack a punch and very good at deterring jousts... But are very difficult to bullseye. It's more a bonus if you get it to happen rather than forcing it to occur. (Side note I've become a big fan of homing missiles, going to experiment with this both for point costs and consistency) - Swarm tactics was surprisingly useful for opening engagements once you get the formation and obstacle placement. Especially if Green Sq and ace pilots get the second talent slot back, daisy chaining it would be awesome! - Sadly regardless of points the main reason I've stopped flying ghost or decimator is they just melt under fire wayyyy too quickly. The VCX lost two shields, cannot take engine upgrade for boosting out of arcs or range, no long range turret (yay no TLT, but no range 3 turret option yet), no sensor slot, no evade action and due to evade token rule changes Jyn doesn't help (unless you take Evaan Verlaine, tinkering with this currently) - Reinforce, while I accept why it needed to change for the better, it currently feels so bad in 2nd Edition. It has its uses but practically; hard hitting ships like Redline still get most of the damage/crits in and against mini swarms I almost always take at least 1 damage a shot and often not prevent anything, leading to it feeling like a wasted action or death by a thousand papercuts that you can't do anything about. - (Reinforce) I think this a big reason why the YT2400's see play more compared to the VCX: more chances to control / reduce the incoming damage and more manoeuvrability with the more open dial and barrel roll, even if it does cost much more. Also Firesprays taking Debris gambit just feels much better than reinforce. - when a shuttle is added / docked, then it feels very expensive to even put a VCX on the table for something that can die so quickly. I'm eagerly awaiting the points changes to see what happens and if it helps make large ships more viable / appealing to use. Keen to hear what other peoples experiences with the VCX and how they differ from my perspective :D

This is my current contender for a system open. I was using han and a docked shuttle to give me a 270 arc at times, but was given this suggestion. I like it better. The new sensation (72) "Chopper" (7) Magva Yarro (8) Saw Gerrera (0) Ghost (2) Tactical Scrambler Points 89 (38) Sabine Wren (5) Lando Calrissian (4) Juke (2) Phantom Points 49 (42) Jan Ors (5) Nien Nunb (3) Engine Upgrade (12) Moldy Crow Points 62 Total points: 200 Chopper can get close and personal, always reinforcing, always gets a target lock and almost always shoots last. Sabine adds an extra arc and can be docked if they try to outmaneuver you. Jan can give a potential 6 dice r1 that can output 4+ crits

I have try some games with my Ghost but it's too expensive, too vulnerable against munitions and Heras ability is not enough to dodge all that bombers arcs. I know it has 4 primary attack dices but in 2nd edition is much weaker and only a little cheaper than in 1st edition.

Dash/Solo + Roark would be a simple errata fix on one card if it is unintended. On the Rebel Han Gunner card after "you may perform a turret arc attack" add "from a turret arc you have not already attacked from".

Yup. It needs the "hasn't already" and "cannot attack again from this arc" clause on all the gunner cards to keep them safe. I can understand FFGs compulsion to not change the wording before an official errata.

Yeah i agree the lack of vet turret gunner is lacking on the build. But, for Chopper at least, the dorsal turret is there to hopefully have a shot out of an arc thats not the front assuming my oppenent bumps that way. Han helps Leebo get a first in and hopefully seriously injure or kill a ship that bumped Chopper. I did want to consider a Zeb crew on Chopper, and swap out the tact scrambler for it. Giron (pronounced like Jirone or Jerome). Its ok, everyone mispronounces it lol.

Zeb is another interesting choice. Kind of feels like a powered down version of 1.0 chopper with double tapping auto-blaster turret, which isn't a bad thing. Thanks again for submitting the list. :)

This list has been really good so far. if flew right its a crit monster i put the hull up grade because i find in most of my games people go for thyane first i want to keep him alive because of his ability along with Saw.

Nice, it certainly seems like the kind of list that can just snipe games out of nowhere. If you're having trouble with one particular platform being targeted, you may want to look at other solutions, for example your opening formation ect. I find more often than not Hull Upgrade just ends up delaying the inevitable. Thanks again for submitting. :)

I feel in today's game with no defense dice you're set up for failure. It wont be in any championship matches for 2.0. I'd bet money on it.

You spoke about the YT-2400 a bit earlier on in this vid about engaging twice at initiative 7 out of the same arc with 4 red dice; but I have one better.... Engaging twice at initiative 5 with 6 red dice while the defender gets one fewer defense die... Review PLEASE!!! And yeah I know it is close to max ooint cost but you could always dump a few upgrades for bid if you wanted. Like Engine Upgrade and Nien Nunb. i really like the Rigged Cargo Chute and Stealth device as you will typically be looking to be behind obstacles firing anyways to royally screw your opponents with red dice, plus they give you an extra greeny to help with your D rolls... So 6 red dice potentially twice per round and 4 defense.... Sign me up!

The Dash Han Roark combo is FINE. Stop talking about it... And before anyone suggests it, I don't play it either. It did well in the 2 tournament's we saw on the same weekend because of surprise factor. It hasn't barely been seen since. Every time something creative does well we shouldn't instantly jump on it and accuse it of being broken or a problem.

It was never a question of power level, I think you may have missed my point. Breaking a key element of a card's design (ie, gunner being designed to give extra shots ONLY out of different arcs) is problematic, and could potentially lead to further design issues down the track. As for "Stop talking about it"... come on man, that's my job! Kind of had to mention it when the build cropped up in one of the lists. ;)

I kinda agree with you. Like any meta list, if it becomes prevalent people will tech against it. Bringing 4+ ships against it does ok as it can struggle to chew through them fast enough.
