Breads On Oak is amaaaaazing... I came down here to stay with a friend for a couple weeks on vacation and he just happens to live less than 500 ft away from there. Needless to say, I've been in heaven starting my mornings off with that short little walk to Vegan Paradise.

The whitest depiction of NOLA food I've ever seen. Really disappointing and high key racist. Really hope yall work on highlighting more BIPOC owned vegan restaurants.

Hi Che, thank you so much for your comment. In short, I agree with you, you're not wrong. We will do better if we ever get back out on the road to film. For context, this was filmed on a tight schedule and we reached out to MANY businesses in NOLA. The ones that are included (In any vegan roadie episode) are the ones that agreed to participate. It isn't necessarily who is chosen and who isn't, it's who has the time to film with us and agrees to let us come in and disrupt their schedule for a few hours. We usually filmed within a 48 hour period, navigating schedules (as i'm sure you know) in the food atmosphere is very tricky. It was also 2015, there were fewer vegan businesses and we don't have the luxury of a research team to dig deeper, simply google and happy cow. As a gay person I would also love to feature LGBTQ+ owned businesses in every episode but I don't always get the opportunity to do that. Just the same, as stated, if we get back out there and film more episodes (it's been 5 years since we filmed) our goal is to always be more expansive.
