It's remarkable how often MK and DG are mentioned as fans' favourite guitarists who they'd like to collaborate. Moreso than for other contemporary guitarists. Yet I can't any mention of the other by either of them. But is that easy to imagine them on a song together? I can imagine a very DG sounding song having MK licks in it and vice versa, but not really a real collaborative effort in writing a song.

I recorded this concert live off TV channel 9 back in 1986 when I was 15 on VHS - played it until the tape broke

Sydney 1986 . It was the last concert after a year of touring playing something like 275 concerts . The band was at its absolute peak , the concert was televised around Australia and anyone with a VCR taped it . Mark was on fire and finding it easy with the band as tight as this . They were making each song new in some way - the solos had evolved and they seemed to be enjoying the performance especially with the thought of going home after giving us everything they had . It was fabulous :) This must be up there as the best version .
