From a teenage girl perspective, the saddest thing to me is how obvious it was that the white outfit wasn’t her idea. Once you turn 14/15 it's normal to be called a young woman/man, it has nothing to do with sexualizing you it's just acknowledging that you're growing up and aren't the little kid you used to be. Plenty of family members and teachers have called me a young woman over the course of highschool, it's not about your body it's about your maturity and responsibility. Another common one I heard was young lady, nothing sexual about it. Even if it's no longer normalized to call teens that it's not going to change the sexualization of teens, trust me people aren't calling me young woman when they cat call. If you're uncomfortable being called young woman/man just asking the person to stop should get them to stop if they're a reasonable person.

This is the sad reality that I too experienced , bc I was too naiv that I confused the attention with care . I was an extra for a gym scene, im visible in a shot--it is a clip called "Eleven makes [forgot name] piss himself." I was behind the main actors, and I actually talked to Millie for a bit. Just a casual hi and how are you sorta thing. Funnily enough the main reason I remember her is because she was eating some cheese cubes in a plastic bowl. She was sweet and she looked younger than me (i am older than her, but i have a baby face.) So to see this is very disturbing. In the thumbnail she kinda looks like Celine Dion-- like Celine Dion rn not Celine back in the 90s.

@@xlectraheart Yes, also a very nice person. And the other main male guys. Worst part working on there is that the amount of 10-12 year old fangirls working with me was *UNHOLY* . (Note this was 2015, and a different scene.) They weren't supposed to be loud and screeching, but they did that. And I remember having a really bad headache afterwards and being rather irritable xD Because the girl I was paired with for a scene wouldn't stop talking-fangirling. My thing is--you can be a fan but to be working on a set, you gotta know when to relax and shut up. I tried my best to teach her that and how to be quiet enough so she wouldn't get reprimanded.
