@pascalgrinberg55305 ай бұрын
What is really amazing, apart from the horrendous way the boat is prepared and the emergency handled, is the tenor of the comments. The sailing world is really upside down. As lifelong and professionnal sailor, formed in the early 70's, I cannot find anything good in this whole video, starting with the unreal fact that instead of doing something usefull somebody is wasting precious time filming!!! The next unreal thing is the importance of saving the bloody Starlink!!! Who the hell cares. But that is the crux of the matter in this age: the gadgets have taken the precedence over the boat itself. There is NO excuse whatsoever for dismasting in that sort of passage and in those conditions. Less time putting up antenas and protection from the sun and more attention to the rig would avoid these problem.
