FYI if you purchase a home outside of TV you will not be able to register as a TV guest if you live in Marion, Sumter or Lake counties. Meaning if you have a TV friend and hope to play golf or use the pool, archery, walking trails etc. as a registered guest, you are not allowed to. A friend of ours lives in Marion county and planned to play put put golf with us but they explained we can not register a guest from the tri county. Unfortunately, there are cheaters and those that are unethical and disobey the rules and find ways to use our facilities. TV is stepping up guest verifications. Because TV residence pay for these amenities like any other community. I was told they do allow grandchildren to register from the tri county as guests to use the pools with their grandparents etc. though up to 30 days a year. Something to think about where you may want to purchase. I definitely would compare the differences in amenities.

Tim, you went right through my neighborhood in the Villages! We just downsized and moved this past June, and we love it in the Villages = we hardly drive our cars since we tool around everywhere in our golf car! Nothing better! We haven't retired yet, but we are positioned to be where we want to be when we do! Thanks for sharing a little bit our our home town, "Florida's Friendliest Hometown" -- it was nice seeing JJ's area too, didn't realize that neighborhood was back there. We have only barely scratched the surface of this area.

Costco will be built in TV below Sumter Landing mid year next year, can’t remember the road but it’s near Hobby Lobby and Fresh Market so we are excited about that. Right now we have to go to Claremont.
