I hope so as well. Neither DF nor TWW (so far) had any hype cinematic trailers. I have nothing against more character or story driven cinematics but give us something cool as well, something to hype us up and motivate people to buy the expansion. Look at how hard they went on D4 advertising, they even had Megan Fox doing ads, and the game sold like crazy.

I highly doubt the new city will fly, the reason it was floating in the hologram is because...well, it was a hologram 😂 But seriously, the new city is meant to be the Eredar finally settling on Azeroth, making it their permanent home. They already have the Vindicaar and the Exodar has been confirmed fully repaired. Those can fly but the new one should be a proper city with settlements akin to what we saw in WoD.

I don't understand why people are acting shocked that the zones are getting rebuilt the way Silvermoon is. Blizzard explicitly said they would be during one of the Blizzcon interviews; the only "new" information is that it will have a full city outside the Exodar rather than the existing city inside Exodar being brought up to modern standards.

I may have figured out the Crystal. In part by something Taliesin has said before. 1: Chronicle mentions that after the creation of the cosmos, shards of pure Light impacted some worlds, bringing such worlds to life, with a World Soul forming inside. I think the giant light crystal is that. 2: Sargeras slew a world with his blade. Tore his sword through that void-tainted world. 3: That same sword was then plunged into Azeroth. And that is when the crystal began its cycle of half Light and half Void. What if the darkness of that world clung to the blade? Or perhaps even its soul was bound into it? Thus unleashing indeed a giant battle of Light vs Void, for the fate of Azeroth's soul.

anyone else get the feeling that they are setting up for playerhousing? (Wishful thinking yes but...) With silvermoon being rebuild, and the draenei's building a new city it made me think they are giving back the core races places for themed houses. Worgan reclaimed Gilneas recently, Undead reclaimed the surface of Lordaeron and the Night elves got Bel'ameth. It would make sense that the first houses (if they did do player housing) would be race/city themed, and the fact that Bel'ameth has portals and boats makes it feel like they want players to stay at that city after the dragonflight expansion is over.

So the fresco you talked about at 17:22...that green gem reminds me a lot of the Sepulcher tier sets. The normal tints for every class were covered with very similar green gems on gold accents. Hmmmm... I have no idea how the FIrst Ones might tie into this storyline (and truthfully, I hope it doesnt) but the similarity is so striking that Im reluctant to dismiss it as coincidence.

I came back to the game, and haven't played Dragonflight yet. I stumbled onto this new quest, and when Alleria (first) brings you to uh, whatever the void elf place is. Since I had never been there, I decided to ignore her quest and talk to all the npcs. And the big bandage dude straight out says the Harbinger is Xalatath. I don't know if that's an oversight, or a cheeky way of letting the player know that he knows shit before Alleria does. Like he says who the Harbinger is the moment you step in the void realm, long before you question the void elf scouts. Before you visit Northrend and ulduar. Before you fight Turlyaon. The Locus Walker just straight up says the Harbinger is Xal. Would have saved us a lot of walking.

Possibly wacky idea but the brokers from Shadowlands are quite similar to the ethereals. Is it possible that K’aresh was the Jailer’s first attempt at claiming a world soul, and Dimensius was able to bombard the planet with void and arcane due to an alliance between void and order, with the stipulation that the world soul was to be completely destroyed, so nobody could get their hands on it? Might explain why there isn’t a Void World Soul stomping around despite the Void consuming K’aresh

So, here is a conflict with Lore that unsure is intentional or not. Supposely Azeroth (out world soul) is sending the Radiant Song, but if the Ethereals heard it (before his world was consumed by a Void Lord), wouldn't that mean that the Ethereal World also had a World Soul that then was consumed by the Void? Wasn't Sargeras reason for attacking Azeroth just to avoid the creation of a Void corrupted Titan/whatever the world souls become? Does this mean there is already a Dark Titan out there made from the world of the Ethereals?
