Cars from China are FAR better than what we get here in North America
@Fauzanarief-n7i2 жыл бұрын
Because electric car market in china are far more competitive than North America, in china there are hundred of electric brand competing with each other. Meanwhile in North America there is only Tesla and couple legacy automaker that made EV
@everyelectriccars2 жыл бұрын
@@Fauzanarief-n7i That’s because automakers are scared to venture into that market. Tesla and The Korean siblings are the only ones making it happen here. GM and Ford aren’t even yet players until they’ve even reached the threshold in sales. Look, if BYD or their sister company makes the move to come to North America, it’s over for EVERYONE besides Tesla and Korean siblings. I’d even cancel my Fisker Ocean order even though it’s just a couple months away from delivery. That’s how serious it is with BYD

I test drove this car in Shenzhen, to my surprise it drove like a Peugeot 3008 which is also made by Dongfeng. Later there was a Voyah owner at my charging station and I asked about the range, he said:"It's OK, it tends to lure you to drive faster so you never get good range out of it. I gather that the range extender version of the Voyah Free is where the model really shines, having likely been originally designed in that configuration. Also the Voyah Dreamer MPV is already hitting the road - saw one the other day myself in a parking lot and the fare collector dude was gasping at the luxurious aura it oozes. The Maserati-esque front grille is really at home there. That, with the Zeekr 009 MPV (where's the review of the much anticipated 001 btw, I'm sure you're not gonna miss that one?) - Chinese car reviewers are running into a busy schedule ahead!

In the past, Catherine(我是阳离子) also made two versions in Chinese and English, but later she only made the English version and put the English version with Chinese subtitles on China's domestic platform, which proved to be very effective.This saves you energy and allows you to express your understanding and analysis more fully in your native language. Everyone can understand the subtitles without affecting the communication at all.

i tried this and the nio es6, every Chinese auto reviewer suggested Voyah Free over Nio Es6, I disagreed... The Free only beeps whereas the ES6 vibrates the steering like Lexus. I personally like Nio's dash screen better, for some reason the angle seemed awkward on the Free and Nio also have HUD. Nio also have the "Queen" from pax seat and the battery swap. However, the air suspension on ES6 is a real concern, I made an U-turn, it wobbles like a boat 🤣 Anyways, I like Nio ES6 over Voyah Free, but at this point, I m actually interested in checking out Audi Q4 Etron as it is even cheaper than both and it is an Audi... also I personally do not need a 4 second 100km EV 🤣
@Zrqdon2 жыл бұрын
I have an audi q4 e tron. And to be honest i am disappointed. Firstly you have to pay extra for a lot of things. Starting price is around 50k usd but if you wanna full spec it, then you will easily end up on 70k+. Every small thing costs extra yet it doesn't feel like a premium car. I tried Voyah Free here in Oslo and liked it much better than my Q4. Also the app for Q4 is not finished as well as infotainment update. They have been promising for 2 years and still thaven't been able to deliver. Very disappointed to be honest. I expected more from Audi...
@VSL_babyface2 жыл бұрын
@@Zrqdon oh, i was only looking at the Q4 etron 40, the 50 isnt worth it as I mentioned i dont need a super fast suv and we dont get snow here in GuangZhou China here, so I also dont need AWD lol (47k usd for 40) and yes, I think all the traditional automakers have similar problem with their old infotainment systems that they never update, I m more interested in how it drives... I mean I dont hate the Free but it just not as good as I was told... I still lean towards Nio ES6 between the 2 especially when I have someone who constantly have motion sickness, the "queen passenger seat" will help alot 🤣🤣🤣 and rear seats dont mean anything to me, i got no one to carry around with as well, anyways, i m still interested in trying it out, until then i wouldnt know and i guess everyone have diff preferences. Most ppl say Li One looks great from inside out, I also did not agree 🤣😂
@Zrqdon2 жыл бұрын
@@VSL_babyface Yeah I agree, i think 40 would be good for you. I have 50 because its AWD and since it is a plus to have it here in Norway due to snow and mountanious landscape. I will say that Q4 has a really good range, but would not say it is a premium car! The WLTP for my Q4 is 474 km, but it drives above 500 km now in summer (around 400 km in winter). The only thing I am suspicious of on Voyah Free is if the range of really is 550 km or not... I have heard chinese EV don´t have accurate range, specially here in Norway where roads and climates are way different than China. Here in Oslo, the Voyah Free car dealer said they put 500 km WLTP for Voyah free just to be on the safe side, however, in China they claim it is 535-550 km WLTP... and over 600 km if you drive it in cities. I guess I will find out. I have ordered one Voyah Free since it is free to cancel it, even 14 days after i get it. If I am not happy with the range by then, I might give it back. But good luck finding a car you like! It is not easy.
@VSL_babyface2 жыл бұрын
@@Zrqdonthanks for letting me know about the Q4 man, for Voyah Free, its hard to say about the range, most people go real crazy coz of the power it delivers you know. Most people wont use the "eco" mode with the strongest braking regen, so i assumed Voyah Free might able to hit 500km if you use drive it normally and not flooring pedal at every stop light lol i say this because i read user reviews, it seemed whenever they have any EVs here, they tend to say... "i m the fastest car when the light turns green", that kinda tell u that person's range will be shorter than a normal driver lol 🤣🤣 oh and i also askes the salesperson about the Auto Emergency Brake... funny enough he said it will bleep the driver and he doesnt even know if it stops the car for you ... for Nio, the salesperson said if u put any input on the brake pedal, it will not engage brakes for you whether you did applied enough brake power to stop the car or not 🤣🤣🤣 so, be aware that their AEB isnt very smart yet 🤣 Thanks for your advance again for Q4, because each of them have pros and cons, I want to take my time to.think about it first 😂 good luck with the Voyah Free my frd 👍👏
@Zrqdon2 жыл бұрын
@@VSL_babyface yeah Q4 is amazing in driving that is for sure! And the steering wheel is one of the best i have seen. I have a child and family, therefore i need a bigger car. That is the main reason I want to change my Q4, the baby seat takes all the space in the trunk... Yeah let's see how Voyah Free is. It is hard to find out after a short testdrive. Right now I am very sceptic but want to give it a chance. Thanks for your reply friend 🙌👍
