Nuts acceleration not necessary, 300 to 350 miles minimum on a f ull charge very important . Tons of sensors and gizmos not necessary but real comfy well postured seats with reclining rear seat adjustment with a nice big screen and hud essential, listen up car makers. Oh yeh , genuine sport suspension that can transform to decent floating comfort suspension and nicely cosseted from external sounds like road and tyre noise , you will have then cracked it.

Ok, the usability of that sliding screen is debatable, but that rear seat is enormous for the category. 900 km on the chinese cycle translates to 600s maybe on the WLTP cycle, which still is quite a lot

Silly statement - the screen is the same size and placement as in all current Teslas. The Tesla 3,X,S and Y are (or were when tested) all in the top 20 safest cars of all time by Euro NCAP testing standards.

Thanks guys. I haven't been impressed by Voyah until now, but I think if you put a Nissan Qashqai badge on it (one of the biggest-selling small family SUVs in the UK), it would fly off the shelves. Some really nice styling details in there too, quite a handsome thing for an SUV. By the way, the most recent car to have air channels through the bonnet like that is the Polestar 3... Looking forward to your test drive - do you know if they have any plans to bring cars to Europe or the UK yet?

There's a few cars that I missed when it came to the front vents, including the Vinfast VF9 (easy to forget), and the Polestar 3 that you mentioned. Looking forward to the test drive of the Soulmate as well, because Voyah has been surprised me before with some nice vehicles. While I'm at it, I also look forward to driving the Polestar, which I think looks amazing.

I-Pace is a stunner, but it was just too early to the game and never received the updates to range and charging that it really needed. There was also the small issue of it being incredibly expensive compared to newer EVs.

The range numbers are the usual CLTC bullshit. I wish they would stop with these inflated numbers. Real highway range probably about 500-600km, looking at the size of the car and its front.

900km is not surprising these days for Chinese EVs because the nio et7 150kwh battery version has a range of more than 1000km in real world testing.

When did I say it was fact? I said it has an official range of 901 km on the CLTC cycle. These test cycles exist in order to give consumers a consistent standard by which to compare different cars, so that's why we repeat them in our videos.

Take it to one of the highest points in China - about 1000km from the coast, charge it to 100% with a diesel generator you have towed in another car, drive / roll 900km to a low point on the coast - Voilà you have a 900km EV - at least that's how NIO do their range tests.

@@kamsunleong6648 I don't know how this saying became popular - it means nothing and conveys nothing - there is nothing "in the pudding" .....the proper saying is "the proof of the pudding is in the eating" - it conveys a similar sentiment as "it looks good...on paper" - meaning that the purpose of the pudding is to be eaten, it can be made from the best ingredients by the best chef and presented perfectly but until the pudding is eaten you can't judge how good it is i.e. the "proof" of how good the pudding is can only come from eating it.
