I have been following WP for about 7 years, have read her book and been to some of her seminars, but every time I hear Dr Terry Wahls speak I still learn something new! Thanks so much for this interview.

Thank you for being so "plugged in" and helpful to those of us with MS. For someone without MS, you are one who truly "gets it".

When I first watched this video I missed Wahl's detailing of how she worked up from 10mins/2x a day to 15mins, 30 mins, and also how she gauged an optimum length of exercise time by how recovered she was 2 hrs afterwards. Watching this again, I am 3 1/2 months post HSCT and looking to take inspiration from her on exercise, as well as diet, supplements and spiritual practice. Gretchen is awesome too! I'm gonna have fun trying!

Biggest question I’ve asked on multiple venues/interviews re: Wahls protocol. She’s not equating factory chickens vs. farm raised??? Someone ask her please. Eggs saved my life on three continents and yes I have MS.

Hey! 8 months later but in case you haven’t found the answer. In terms of eggs, she personally had an egg allergy, so in order for her to be able to do research on this, other people had to quit eating eggs since all the parameters need to be the same. You could then reintroduce eggs and other stuff and there’s a protocol for that. But for other things like meat fish, she’s always advocating for wild caught, grass fed etc so she’d say it makes a difference. Happy that you are not allergic to eggs though, they really are life savers.

Is it normal i have troubles with my intestines at first when changing my diet into the whals protocol?

Great question - As nutrition is not my area of expertise I would recommend reaching out to Dr. Wahls and her team for the best answer☺️

Any time you make a big dietary change it’s possible to upset your GI tract as you find your balance.

Nice in-depth, but not too, interview. I agree that food has a major affect on health but am happier with whole food plant based approach . Trying to think of a name to suggest but can't think of someone who includes physical therapy as well.

You can get e-stim in a physical therapy office or some gyms when working with a personal trainer
