Judaism, Islam, & Christianity have all been major influences for over 1,400 years and will all almost certainly remain global influences for another 1,000 years or more given our species' propensity toward (tenacity with) cultural norms. Thus, seeking commonality is about the wisest thing a shrewd negotiator can possibly do. Bridges can not be built by hurling stones at the parties standing on opposite sides of the chasm. Casting stones merely enrages the participants.

Very interesting indeed... But I personnally think the Middle east will never be Europe because it's not in Europe's and all the world superpower's interests for the middle east to be strong and united...
