The War Within PvP | The DOs and DON'Ts of SoloQ Rated BGs | How to Improve at 1v1s

This video will be focused more on objectives which can lead to many 1v1, 1vN situations. My suggestion is for people who are not comfortable or confident with those type of fights to try to stay with the teamfights unless forced to do otherwise. For those wanting to get better at those types of fights I give some suggestions on how you can build confidence for doing them.

Yep, I think that is going to be a big draw for soloQ RBGs. It has it's faults, but for many it is going to the format they have the most fun with.

GREAT video. You mention extremely important topics that extremely few even can think of nowadays. This reminds of topics I loved watching @ Skill Capped in Cataclysm when the Gladiator mindsets were close to their absolute peak. This is also a few expansions before PVP UIs became PVE UIs. Been a loooong time, but if life allows I'll focus up for Blitz Season 1 and enjoy every minute of the CHAOS. The Battleground 3.0 Era is finally upon us! Love this one you are very much like me though you play more classes :) similar bg scrub mindset. The whole not fun when even winning rings so true. These videos are gold. here is a tip: once your node is capped, u got 2 choices reset the fight and go another objective OR let them waste cds killing you, don't waste any, and spawn and still either go another obejctive or go back to base if the timing is right remember, once the node becomes neutral, the closest buff spawn is always 5/10 seconds :)

here is what i would have done let them kill me, corpse run to the body or timer ress, wait until its clear who stays to cap, prison cap, if bubble just remember, the reset is up in 5-10 seconds, wait the dr, do it again

When I play melee characters I never ever go into team fights. I find being targeted first by multiple opponents and also having to wade through a dustbowl of colorful barf, to be huge turnoffs in PVP. Which is why I always go looking for 1v1s or at least small fights.

Yeah, I should have mentioned this in the video as well. I typically only go team fight with melee if I am duo queue with healer. Otherwise, I try to hit the smaller fights.

Very good content; just like yourself, I hate arena's and love BG's. BG's is where real PvP is at because the more players you have on a given team the less a specific class / spec matters like with boxed arena's. I wish blizzard would stop treating BG's as an afterthought an dedicate a team full time to improving them until they become as evolved as say the battlefield series. A real untapped gold mine BG's are, just plainly wasted.

Yeah, I can appreciate arena for what it is - just not my cup of tea. It's always been about BGs for me. And, like you said the boom and bust cycle of balancing doesn't matter quite as much since there are more ways to win than just brute force.

If you are talking about what is on the left and right side that is RgsCT. I'm not sure it is being supported anymore. It was still working, but might be one of those addons at risk for TWW.

The key to this game is to NOT camp bases that are protected and rotate. You're entire video is wrong at 00.03. Sad.

DWG is different than other maps due to travel times between nodes. And, if there is a fight there (WHICH THERE WAS, IN CASE YOU ARE BLIND) you just as might as well stay and fight for the next one. So, no. You are actually wrong. If I leave the node then I give it up for free. There is nothing wrong with staying at the node to fight over the next cap if the enemy is there. I would have went ruins if there was no enemy there. Dumb comment from you here.

@@RaggokOozo you don't give it up for free, you left 2 people on a non-capturable objective while rearanging to the other bases. so they are 6 on the map while your are 8, you come back 3people to cap base when it pops back, like go ruins or mid and come back. You mount speed is so high that it takes you 1/3 of the time of a protected cap to go to next point. I hope you 1600ish player will listen to an actual high ranked player. Sad Ego bruh..

If I leave that node they capture the next shrine. At that point I am fighting for the NEXT shrine cap. How is that hard to understand? If I leave the node, which is a big IF since I will be letting a warrior and paladin pound on me while trying to get away then they get the next shrine for free.
