I will never understand this (likely completely fake) hype around a hardcore fresh. The usual problems you get on old multiple year long running servers do not exist on hardcore servers. Hardcore is 99% about the leveling experience. The overwhelming majority of HC players will never even hit max level without dying, and the few who do will not survive past their first raid, if that's even where they wanna go with it. It will be the usual small community of streamers and their glazers, doing the exact same stuff they're currently doing on HC servers. Literally zero need for a fresh server. We have much bigger demands than a fresh hardcore server... sodapoppin is utterly cringe and a terrible ambassador for this game. Dude quit for years, came back for classic original when it came out (despite him and his butt buddies for YEARS demanding that blizz release classic), played for a month, then quit and only came back for this cringe hardcore nonsense. Stop catering to clowns like this, they don't represent the everyday WoW player. TBC fresh has a far higher demand to hold us over until classic plus additions. Can't wait to play a seal twisting ret again, this time from day one rather than where I picked it up in BT.

The Age Of Empires 2 community is awesome. Definitely worth your time if you remember liking the game. The Definitive Edition is the way to go imo.

It was briefly more popular than SoD, Era, or HC when it first came out. That changed about 2 months ago and SoD is now more popular. MoP announcement will bring a decent crowd back.

I don't think seasons work this way? They are meant to last for roughly a year, then they end, and a new season is released with a new idea or twist. Whenever Classic+ crystallizes into a concrete idea, I think we might see a combination of past season themes included in it, with runes from SoD being a possibility.
