At 57 I have been into rock for 40+ years. There have been a lot of good bands over the decades, but no one in the last 20 years has caused me to be addicted to their music like these girls have.

Note that Ale actually plays a power chord on bass for the second note of the chorus every time… So heavy sounding… and not for wimpy bass players

I really like the OMV for Animosity. It’s worth checking out on your own time. Even if you’re not into the style of the video (DPA is) it is still interesting. Pau wrote this to memorialize a lost friendship that really hurt her. This song is an expression of anger and resentment towards said person and the remembrance of the hurtful moments in reflection over time. It also expresses a desire for revenge through karma or more personal means. It’s really a song about the stages of grief involved in losing a relationship that was once valuable and still hasn’t been completely emotionally resolved.

"Hell You Call A Dream" is the new song that has the pro shot live video from the Pepsi Center CDMX. The Friday prior to that video, TW dropped 2 lyric videos, one for HYCAD, and the other for the new Spanish language song, Que Mas Quieres.

Dany (guitar) works hard to get the emotion correct that Pau (drums) was experiencing when she wrote this song... *Animosity* was spawned from a childhood friendship breaking up... basically the story is that someone said something like, "come hang out with us. that band thing won't go anywhere. why are you wasting your time?" well, you can imagine how that went over... TWA like to joke that the moral of the story is "Don't upset Pau or you may be memorialized in a song" 😹 *Fade Away* from the _"Escape the Mind"_ EP is similar to *Animosity* in that both talk about moving on after others have attempted to sully your drive and determination... i can easily see both of them being initially developed around the same time frame... _some lyrics from _*_Fade Away_*_ :_ They told me I couldn't do it That I would stumble and fall I would get cuts and bruises That I just should give up [...] And I'll walk, walk Walk until the very top And I'll run, run Even though I stumble and fall And I'll jump, jump Jump until I reach the sun And I'll shine, shine Shine until my light fades away TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA

Yeah just be careful what you say and do around The Warning because if Karma doesn't hit you then I will. The lyrics are as well written as the songs with The Warning. They're always catchy, like the music, but they're also usually something worth thinking about and pondering over, like poetry. I love the transitions in this song, particularly how they come out of the Mayday section and it literally feels like a ship lost at sea: "Where is it going"? But of course we already know where it is going yet it still surprises in how artfully it's pulled back into the bridge/chorus.

The Pepsi Center song Hell You Call A Dream is one you'll love, I'll tell you that right off. Everything they do is a fresh blast of goodness. Been following bands for decades, never expected three young sisters from Mexico to give new life to the rock world. But they'll be shaking things up for quite some time to come. What I particularly like about this vibrant song is the punk undertones (no pun intended) to it. Gives it life, soul and heart that is so sadly lacking in the world of pop these days. Its like a breath of fresh air shooting through the tired old world of commercial music that the industry has done more than anyone else to kill interest.
