Don't apologize for stopping and breaking things down. That's the key thing you do and it's very interesting to hear how a musician breaks things down. Subbing for more reaction analysis and hope for more The Warning as well. Their ages currently are 23, 21, and 18.

Not many people pick up on first listen how talented Ale (the bass player) is and how intricate her bass lines are. At only 18 years she can already hang with the best of them. Pau (the drummer) at 21 is already making the lists for best female drummer of all time and the is the primary lyricist who starts most of the songs which then they finish together. Oh, and she also sings lead on several songs while pummeling the kit into submission. And finally Dany, the guitar player and front woman at 23 can, as you very well stated, switch seamlessly between lead and rhythm guitar while delivering the lyrics and embodying the song with her facial expressions and attitude. These 3 sisters are great multitalented musicians and even better people. Rock monsters on stage; sweethearts off stage. Can’t wait to see how far they will go.

The Warning already did a straight cover of ‘Enter Sandman’ when they were 14, 12, and 9 years old. It has 25 million + views. Kirk Hammet said that “the drummer kicks maximum ass”. It got them on The Ellen Show, where Target gave them $10,000 each to attend the summer session at Berklee College of Music, which they were trying to fund. Speaking of the bassist, she is a Spector artist and prominently featured on their website. They are producing a Signature Series bass in her name and also have a color/pattern called “Ale’s Inferno” (her name is Alejandra, Ale for short).

Love the analysis and observations - I always like hearing a musician's take on The Warning, no matter what aspect. I'd recommend their song Animosity (recently released, from Teatro Metropolitan) and my favorite song Evolve -- multiple video choices, the one filmed by MTV when The Warning opened up for the Foo Fighters is a great live video.

Cool fact: Choke was an eagerly awaited release and the first off their latest LP ERROR (Mayday EP). It was a long time coming and many of us tuned into The Warning channel for the live chat before the KZbin release of this video. When Dany’s voice soared with such power it blew everyone away. That voice… epic. When we saw Ale, all grown up, it blew minds. Pau? Well, Pau is Pau…an absolute and consistent force of nature. Amazing to consider that this song was not their first choice for first track debut.

Good review, don't apologize for stopping... ever. The Warning Army prefers an analysis over a basic "I like it" and it's a wrap review. Actually, some reviewers do hour long in depth analysis, going over every aspect of the song, and they get tons of reviews. So feel free to do a deep dive and take your time analyzing the different aspects of their music. You'll understand why everyone from old school metal heads in their 50s to younger rock fans love them so much. Also big props for acknowledging Dany's (the guitarist) multi faceted responsibilities. It's specially more impressive when you watch them live, and see how she manages to control the crowd, run, jump, sing, play both rhythm and lead all at the same time. Basic fans will criticize her and say "oh, those are basic chords" well... then I'd like to see them do all of that while singing at a world class level. And YES their live performances are significantly better. They're a rare artist that sounds better live than their recordings. But they must be 'seen' to be properly experienced. Looking forward to your next Warning vids, already subbed.

Thank you for welcoming The Warning into your regular reviews and reactions in the future! I've been reviewing the material and recently started reacting to some things that are brand new or hard to find, and am seeing a really huge increase in their popularity suddenly. Most people who see these young women (currently 18 bass/bg vocals/keys, 21, drums/lead vocals/keys, 23 guitar/lead vocals/keys) seem to remain interested... and the fact that they have 3 full length albums already and extra singles and a slowly being release (one track at a time to the public) proshot prorecorded live concert plus tons of old non-proshot live concerts, and their dozens of official youtube videos when they were younger, I mean this band started when they were little children... the bassist was like 9 when they formed... it's a limitless amount of material to get into! The bassist, by the way, has perfect pitch (according to her bass teacher and to the other band members).... so definitely has a good ear for sure!

I have no issues with you pausing to analyze the music, I actually prefer to learn stuff rather than watch someone listen to music and then ask for a sub. Pause away, there will be a lot to discuss as you move deeper into their catalog. All 3 are very, very talented musicians, but since Ale was a few years younger she had to 'catch up' once she started music in order to reach a level where she could work with her sisters to create music. Their story is very unique and you might find the Tidal Rising documentary useful in order to get a better understanding of how the band came to be and how they each made the journey. This explains a lot - might even be worth a reaction.... kzbin.info/www/bejne/qWjMgnpmqsxnfqs

OK, Subscribed. Daniela guitar (Dany 23), Paulina drums (Pau, 21), Alejandra bass (Ale, 18) now subtract 3 years for this video. I appreciate the breakdown as to what is going on because I'm just a hobby guitarist at best and my ears just don't pick up the subtle things. Alejandra is indeed quite good, she was the youngest official Spector artist at 15 and respected by many experienced bassists. They did a cover of Hysteria by Muse when she was 8 years old and Ale nailed the demanding bass line on a 3/4 size bass. (Yes, I said 8 years old. The video is still out there, kzbin.info/www/bejne/hl6spoWEi7KmrpI (A low-fi home practice recording just a couple minutes long, but you can really get a feel for where they were headed. Thanks a bunch for taking a look at these ladies, they have an impressive catalog already.

You talked a little aboutthe three of them as persons and what I look on as a great advantage they have, is that they have three different personalities, different strenghts in their musicianship but still complement so well and as they are sister they get along with oneanother in a unique way. Using these advantages can take them to were went want to go to.

Great reaction Mr. J! The Villarreal Velez sisters are amazing songwriters and performers from Mexico who live in Monterrey, San Pedro Garza Garcia, Nuevo Leon. Each one of their original songs is great. Their second album, "QUEEN OF THE MURDER SCENE", is a concept album. It follows a girl's journey into unrequited love; from infatuation and obsession on into stalking and murder, then madness and the fight over her soul. It is a masterpiece. It was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2019 Independent Music Awards. Their 1st full-length LP, "XXI CENTURY BLOOD", is also very good and is packed with many great songs. The video for the title track, "XXI Century Blood", was nominated for and won many awards. Their very 1st released recordings are from their 6 song EP, "ESCAPE THE MIND"; and it is amazing. Despite being courted by numerous offers from many major record labels, The Warning have stayed independent through the years; relying on crowd funding to finance their projects. They refused to give up creative control over their material ... down to even the clothes they wear on stage. After 7 months of negotiations, The Warning signed a 5 album recording contract with Lava/Republic Records/Universal Music Group in the fall of 2020. They decided to release 1/2 (6 songs) of their completed 3rd full-length album in an EP called "MAYDAY" October 8th, 2021. The entire album was released June 24th, 2022: called "ERROR". "Disciple" is my favorite track! The Warning do not come from a family of musicians, however, their parents are huge fans of classic rock. Both parents are professionals (civil engineer and dentist) and they enrolled their daughters into a private Catholic English speaking school Liceo de Monterrey, Mexico. They also started the girls with classical piano lessons at ages 6, 4 and 5 years old. Regular family functions included gathering around the TV with popcorn and watching LIVE concert dvds of legendary bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen and AC/DC. When their parents got them the video game Rock Band at ages 8, 6 and 3, they went nuts playing it obsessively. A year or so later, they got "real" instruments with lessons from professional teachers: and the rest is history. Amazing they are 23, 21 and 18 years old and have already written, arranged, and released #46 original songs. I was fortunate enough to get to meet them after their show January 16th, 2020 at The Whisky a Go-Go in Hollywood, California. I had the opportunity to meet with them 2 more times during the 6 shows I attended on their recent North American MAYDAY Tour. Aside from their music, they are just normal, sweet, intelligent, and fun-loving young ladies who are truely grateful and endearing to their fans. 🗣 Thank you for sharing your reaction! 🤘🤓🍿

The version of Enter Sandman you watched was one of the live ones, the song/video of their version of Enter Sandman was a colab with Alessia Cara, a pop singer. The Warning has covered a number of metal songs, including Enter Sandman when they were very young, so they can play/sing metal anytime they want, but Alessia couldn't, so they changed that version of Enter Sandman so she could sing it. All of them are, actually, leading vocals at some songs, Dany, the guitarist is usually the leading vocalist at most of their songs, but Pau, the drummer is the leading singer at some songs and even sometimes both are the leading vocalists at different parts of the song. And the bassist: she actually is the lower tone at the part of the chorus without instruments. She, the younger of these three sisters (she just turned 18 a few moths ago) do sing, but actually she has said that, since she’s the shy one of the three sisters, she doesn’t like to have all of the attention as the leading voice at any song, but yes, sometimes at their shows she’s the one that sings, actually she has become the wildcard, when some of her sisters can’t sing, like if they’re throat sick, she takes the leading vocals. All of them sing, compose and play the piano, since that’s actually how they compose their music: they start their songs at the piano, then move it to their instruments.
@oscarexcan Жыл бұрын
Of course they can play Enter Sandman the original way, they did it almost ten years ago when they were just little girls, that’s the reason they became viral that moment and they decided to become a real professional rock band, not just three little kids, sisters playing together at their basement! Actually that cover made them start this journey to become what they’re now.

There is too much talent, virtuosity, beauty, charisma, power, creativity, the desire to be, kindness, support, inspiration, synergy, etc. All of it in a small 3 piece pack (apparently only 3) which is very small... but with nuclear content!! And if this were a commodity, and it could be done, I would buy all the possible stock shares of the brand on the stock market. I would do the best business, with the greatest projection and that will give me the best dividends. It's a super safe bet!! TW have a huge list of songs of the best musical and artistic level, complete and rounded, both in their lyrics and in their instrumentation. In addition, they are 3 women who are each one of the best as human beings and have the impetus to "devour" the world. You put this combination of pure talent and energy on stage and you get The Warning... An unmissable bet!! Your next reaction to TW should be = "Animosity" Alive Teatro Metropólitan CDMX = kzbin.info/www/bejne/gWm5gYtjmc6FopY It's an original song like 40 others and more that they have created. Hi, greetings from the Netherlands. I enjoyed watching your reaction. I might have an interesting recommendation for you. Another rabbit hole. Have you ever listened to Nightwish? If not, they are a symphonic metal band from Finland with a Dutch singer, Floor Jansen. She has one of the best female voices in metal today. Floor can sing with an operatic approach, pop, rock and even grunting. She's a master at conveying emotion through a song and her stage presence is unmistakable. None of the Nightwish songs are alike. There are epic and melodic songs, but they can also go really heavy on you (like in the one I’m recommending now) and the next song could be very celtic sounding or even jazzy. Their music is exceptionally well composed and arranged. Their musicality is outstanding and so is their lyrical content. Nightwish is best appreciated LIVE. Give the song ‘Romanticide’ a try. It was recorded at Wacken 2013, in front of 82 000 people. kzbin.info/www/bejne/sKvCaIJ5eLafjtU Like I said, another rabbit hole, but a magical one.
