DUDES Dany was only 14! Pau 12 and Ale 9. They are geniuses.and their sound is unique to them. No neither of their parents are musicians but they spent family time with the the girls watching classic rock videos. The girls got the game Rock Band and it lit a fire in them for rock music! The rest is history and they are never looking back in their journey to rock domination.

Their Parents are Not Musicians, Dany said they are the First Musicians in the Family, all Three girls play the Piano they started taking piano lessons when Dany was 6 and Pau was 4 and Ale started at age 5, Then when Dany was 8 and Pau 6 their Dad bought them the Video Game "Rock Band" and They would play all the Time but Ale was to young to play because she was 3, then their Dad asked Dany if she wanted to learn another instrument and said the Guitar and Pau said the drums so they started taking Lessons and Ale later started take Bass Lessons, Dany can Also Play the Saxophone a little Bit, by the way The Warning have 2 songs on Rock Band IV, a song from their 2015 EP "Free Falling" and a song from their first Album "Survive"

Alessia Cara is a popular Canadian pop singer. The story is that it was Alessia who was initially invited to cover a Metallica song for the Blacklist album and since Alessia and The Warning have the same international manager, it was he who suggested Alessia and The Warning collaborate on this project. They only had 1 week to to come up with the song, record it and mix it. Plus the fact that they had to work from long distance since The Warning are in Mexico and Alessia is in Canada. The Warning are good at working under pressure since it was them who did most of the work according to Alessia Cara.

You asked a question & I will answer it. Was The Villarreal's (the parents) musicians?? No. He was in engineering. She was a dentist. The Villarreal sisters took classical piano lessons when they were very young. Then their father brought them the Rock Band video game. Dani took guitar. Pau took drums. Ale took bass when she got older.

Very good reaction guys, Its great to get both versions side by side like this, shows a lot of growth musically and why The Warning didn't do a straight cover on the Blacklist. They already nailed a copy at a young age. Alessia Cara is a Grammy winning pop singer who share the same promotional management team as The Warning. Metallica wanted to reach a wide audience for the album since its for charity .They had 1 week to get it all together. The Warning arranged it and their producers mixed it. imo best Enter Sandman I've heard.

You wondered about The Warning- here is your information. The Warning is a band of 3 sisters from Monterey, Mexico. Daniela (21), Paulina (19), and Alejandra (16). Their parents Luis and Mony Villarreal loved rock music and exposed the kids to it from a very young age. Even though Luis and Mony (Monica) were not musicians they encouraged their 3 little girls to follow their passions for music. Dany and Pau started when they were 5 and 3 years old respectively, enrolling in a music initiation class. Ale followed along when she was old enough. When Dany was 8 she started piano lessons. Pau and Ale followed suite when they were old enough. Welcome to the Warning Army. You have been Warned. Check out their progression over the years. They have a ton of original music and live shows that are spectacular. They all sing, play piano, write their own music, etc. If you’re going to go down this road, suggest you check out their early stuff first - try “Survive” from one of the TedTalks they did. Their second album, "Queen of the Murder Scene", is a concept album. It follows a girl's journey into unrequited love; from infatuation and obsession on into stalking and murder, then madness and... It is a masterpiece. It was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2019 Independent Music Awards. Their 1st full-length LP, "XXI Century Blood", is also very good and is packed with many great songs. The video for the title track, "XXI Century Blood", was nominated for and won many awards. Their very 1st released recordings are from their 6 song EP, "Escape the Mind"; and it is amazing. Despite being courted by numerous offers from many major record labels, The Warning have stayed independent through the years; relying on crowd funding to finance their projects. They refused to give up creative control over their material ... down to even the clothes they wear on stage. After 7 months of negotiations, The Warning signed a 5 album recording contract with Lava/Republic Records/Universal Music Group last fall. We are all patiently awaiting their 3rd album release. The Warning do not come from a family of musicians, however, their parents are huge fans of classic rock. Both parents are professionals (civil engineer and dentist) and they enrolled their daughters into a private Catholic English speaking school Liceo de Monterrey, Mexico. They also started the girls with classical piano lessons at ages 6, 4 and 5 years old. Regular family functions included gathering around the TV with popcorn and watching LIVE concert dvds of legendary bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen and AC/DC. When their parents got them the video game Rock Band at ages 8, 6 and 3, they went nuts playing it obsessively. A year or so later, they got "real" instruments with lessons from professional teachers: and the rest is history. Amazing they are 21, 19 and 16 years old and have already written and arranged #44 original songs all by themselves! The oldest, Dany (Daniela) plays guitar, keyboards, lead vocals on 75% of their songs, backing harmonies. Pau (Paulina) plays drums, keyboards, lead vocals on 25% of their songs, backing harmonies. Ale` (Alejandra) plays bass, keyboards, backing harmonies. The drummer Pau writes around 75% of their songs. In her songs, she starts with a concept, then works on chord progressions and basic song structure on piano while adding lyrics. She then brings it before her sisters and together they transpose each individual instrument's part; making changes along the way. They also complete the lyrics together; since Pau may only bring one verse and a chorus. All 3 must unanimously approve of each instrument's part and each vocal harmony before it becomes a completed song. Nothing is set in stone until it makes it through the gauntlet. Pau has said if not for her sisters, her songs would be different. Both Dany and Ale` write equally great songs; just not as many. I was fortunate enough to get to meet them after their show January 16th, 2020 at The Whisky a Go-Go in Hollywood, California. My first comment was after the first Sandman. I didn't know you would do the other so now I have to comment on the last one. The drummer actually sings lead in several of their songs. At the time of the 2014 Sandman, the guitarist was 14 and started playing at 8. The drummer was 12 and started playing at 6. The bassist was nine and I believe began at 7.

All I can say is that Band-Maid is one of the bands that makes me feel happy again since they play the kind of rock that I grew up with during the 60's - 90's and I'm even more of a fan of *The Warning* and have followed their journey to fame since 2013. They were only 8, 11, and 13 back then but I felt it in my heart that they would become big one day. Actually it's mostly their personallity and work ethics that I love. People say they have talent, but just talent would never take them to where they are today. I listened to AURORA "Believer" and realized that we would never be able to agree on that cover. If not for the lyrics, you would not know this was that song till the last 30 seconds. That's why it baffled me when you said it was too much like the original?
