I turn 54 this year. I grew up with 98 Rock and 95 YNF in Tampa Bay. Stations that played deep album cuts and weren’t afraid of the Ramones, Misfits, or Metallica. Ever since I started choosing my own music it’s been the heavier side of rock. There are still new-ish rock bands putting out great music. I’m not gonna say these ladies are saving rock and roll but, my God, they just might be.

😊Pau had said in an interview they look to the world for inspiration writing songs. Unrequited love of someone once seen as a friend the person is seeing them now as a love interest. But the other doesnt know. The ladies have been focused on their music greatly. Since childhood. Maybe the squeezed in relationships. But for now they my see those as distractions. These ladies are all laser focused on this. Paul runs on the treadmill and practices singing st the same time. Helps achieve greater control. Drums are the hardest to play and sing lead. You know outside of woodwinds n such😅 . Thank you for spreading the awareness of their great talents. I truly enjoy your reactions.

@MrJest29 ай бұрын
As I understand it, pretty much every song Pau presents to her sisters starts out as a ballad. It's kind of how her mind works; she's naturally a "balladeer", in a classical Mexican way. The other two then try to figure out how to "rock-ify" the tune... but sometimes, a ballad just needs to be a ballad. This is one of those times.

Did you noticet that the song doesn't resolve harmonically at the end? The last note coming off Dany's guitar doesn't take you back to the main chord the song is based on. Now, watch Narcisista where Pau comes out from behind the drum kit (don't worry, someone takes over the drums) and joins her sisters up front. She's a real firecracker. You note the fullness of their sound. I compare them (fairly, I think) to Cream, a true supergroup I heard live back in the day. These girls have a bigger, better sound. You might want to look up an early performance of theirs, a TedX concert. The song to look for is survive. You'll be amazed at how good they were back then, and Pau especislly. I call her the beating heart of the band.

Please begin 2024 generously and spread the love that the Warning demonstrates. Their message is profound. Please provide links to the artist's original video AND official channels (THANKS) in your description. Most importantly, encourage viewers to use those links to watch, like, share, and comment the same as for your channel. Your verbal encouragement will lead viewers to the artist's links as well as your valuable information, since most do not go to your descriptions on their own. You may also include links to the artists' social media and streaming services. Each artist provides so much joy to all of us, and reactors have a platform that can help boost both artist and reactor analytics on KZbin. If you've ever been in that sort of situation before, this song hits hard. Pau's talent as an emotive empath, a writer, a singer, a composer/arranger, and a drummer are on full display here. First time I heard this, I couldn't stop staring at the monitor as I played it over and over. Dany's guitar and Ale's bass are insane on this. Of course, a lot of that "wall of sound" comes down to electronics and pedal-board programming (David Bendeth, producer on the *Error* album, is responsible for the amp/cabinet simulations). Dany is using an octave harmonizer on the guitar signal, along with various compression, delay, and EQ effects. The sisters' Dad is a civil engineer who once ran a recording studio, and Lalo, their sound guy, is brilliant. They know their tools!
@jayb1rd9 ай бұрын
Some people say that using the electronics as they do is "cheating". I say bullchit! What they are doing is using technology to fill the void a 3 piece band tends to leave. Bottom line is, it's their work. It's not like they are stealing other's sounds and mixing it into their stuff. Also, getting their individual live sounds to perfectly mix with the filler stuff is no easy task and yet nothing but perfection comes from their performance. And also, guitarists have been using pedal boards for many, many years. Finally, to those that feel they are "cheating", go find better and when you cannot, we will welcome you back.
@NoSmokingDogs9 ай бұрын
For anyone that thinks they're cheating, watch any of their acoustic stuff.
@williamburkholder7699 ай бұрын

A craftsman that uses all the tools available to them to create a masterpiece in any other medium is celebrated. Sometimes people forget those that are considered icons in the industry also used “effects” in their recordings and live performances. Remember, Dany is still playing the actual guitar and her Kemper is doing the same things that other artists had done at the sound board and all while singing lead vocals in most songs. Most of the icons didn’t have the burden of being vocalists or rhythm guitarists for their bands as well.

*23 Backstory:* The performance at Teatro Metropolitan CDMX (Mexico City) was a two day event (a Thursday, Monday night) to show case their 3rd. Album *Error.* On the second day they had Pau's drum teacher (one of them) Beto Ramos sit in for her on *Narcisista.* Then on *23,* Ale's bass teacher (and bands mentor) Pablo Gonzalez [who suggested then girls to write their own songs which became their *Escape the Mind EP] stood next to each other playing *23.* Unfortunately, over shadowing Pau's performance. Even the light guy didn't know what to do. Some say The Warning used the second night soundtrack & synced it up what was clearly the first night's *23* performance. In the credits of the full length concert film. They did credit Pablo. But we only saw him in the finale bows on the second night. Well, in one of their many interviews they all stated that none of their songs actually happened to any of them but they read extensively and write their songs about what they read. They also stated that Pau is the song idea person in the band and she usually stars writing the songs on piano and they all are classically train on piano. She comes up with the song ideas and many times she writes most of the lyrics and even sometime supplies some of the riffs and other music. Her sisters then fill in the music and they work together to get the song finished. I said before that Pau must at least a quad processor in her head because during concerts. she drums, sings while drumming, runs the light show, and also starts any background tracks where they have them. They don't use backing tracks much but they do have them. Pau is just a fabulous ENTERTAINER and a genius. All three of them are musical geniuses.

If you want to see “front woman Pau,” I recommend Narcisista from this same live performance from Teatro Metropolitan. She steps out front to take the lead while her drum mentor, Beto Ramos, guest stars on drums. It’s epic! kzbin.info/www/bejne/g2epZ5-DZrWrmq8si=zeoa4QaSsRbFu8uE

Dany's pedal board has a harmonizer to give the sound of two guitars playing.
