The importance of the concert at the National Auditorium is due to what it represents the main entertainment venue in Mexico for its accoustic quality and being the second in cultural importance (The Palacio of Bellas Artes being the first) with a capacity of 10,000. After bringing 8,000 people to the Pepsi Center in October of last year it was the next step and after the Auditorium the next thing is Arenas and Stadiums. In Mexico they are bringing rock back to the taste of the people and young people because it has been more than 20 years since a band emerged that was successful in the national market and that attracted people outside of festivals. In addition to the Anniversary concerts in Monterrey (Pabellon M - 4,500 people) and Guadalajara (Teatro Diana - 2,500) in October, at the end of last year they toured different cities in Mexico (in some cases without much promotion) with full houses. theaters of 4,000 people in Toluca and Queretaro, and audiences of 2,500 in Pachuca and Mérida. Tijuana, due to various circumstances, had a smaller audience (about 1,500 people) and Cancun the same where they had to go to a smaller venue filled with 900 people but closed and of better quality. Being from Mérida and having seen them last year, I hope that on their next tour I can see them at the GNP Forum which is for 10,500
@gabrielalbertocastillomarq61209 ай бұрын
For a better idea of the importance of the National Auditorium, great singers and artists hold concert seasons with multiple dates, such as Luis Miguel who has held seasons of 10 to 12 concerts (he holds the record with 226 concerts held at the venue, practically all of them sold out). . Additionally, it is extremely rare for Rock groups to obtain availability for the venue. Fun fact: the Lunario, where they presented the QOTMS album, is part of the National Auditorium complex

they actually did not have a soundcheck, that's why they had that problem. This happens a lot in that kind of festivals as there is not enough time of doing everything a concert needs to be close to perfection. Also, Mexico CIty is 2240 meters above the level of sea. If not used to that crazy height, people can get tired quicker than normal.

The guest guitarist during Narcissista was Jay De La Cueva. The Warning have opened for his band years ago and apparently they've been friends since. They jammed together about 4 years ago on some unknown song and filmed it for Insta or FB. A fascinating bit of TW history, something I wished they produced and released as a single. Festivals are notorious for having limited or no sound checks, especially for the bands in the middle slots. I would imagine they just had a Line Check which is just basically just making sure everything is plugged in and signal is reaching the sound board. The levels are adjusted on the fly, not optimum by any stretch of the imagination but a common festival practice. Also the sound for the live stream was most likely mixed separately and probably by someone who is not familiar with The Warnings music. Having run sound at a festival setting as well as playing on stage at a festival, I have run into all these issues.

I am absolutely obsessed and in love with The Warning! I watched this on the stream and boy was I happy. I cant wait to see these girls live for the first time. Hopefully when they announce a North American tour they come to either Omaha or Lincoln, Ne close to where I am, otherwise id have to travel to either Minneapolis, Kansas City, or Denver. I thought about buying tickets to the MMRBQ music festival in Camden, NJ on Saturday September 21, 2024 and fly out there to see them play with, Halestorm, The Offspring, POD, Nothing More and a few others, which would be cool. but I said no to myself for the simple fact that I want my first time seeing The Warning live to be at one of their own Headlining Tour shows and not some festival playing 3rd or fourth fiddle to bigger bands. One day hopefully sooner than later these girls are going to be the ones Headlining festivals and stadium shows. and I can not wait for it.

In the very new future, in an extremely large arena, Ale is going to walk onto the stage and seat herself at the piano and sing the lead on a Warning ballad. There are many feeds from the main audio snake going out from the stage. One was for the stream. What we heard on the stream was a mess, but wasn't how the crowd heard them. The Front of house board controls what the crowd hears, and what the bands take their official audio from. The feed we got on the stream was from the video booth board. I think they only got a simple line check, and Lalo adjusted them on the fly as they went. There was obvious issues with the In Ear Monitors throughout the entire performance, but that is a separate feed that goes to an onstage board, ran by Carlos. This is what happens when you don't get a proper soundcheck. At the end of the day, it was a blast, and they put on a great show ending with the same song they ended with last time they was there in 2020. They Warned many new fans in their home country, and did a metric crap ton of preshow interviews. We didn't see from Dany anywhere like we did with Ale & Pau, before the show at all. I suspect she wasn't feeling well, and taking care of herself. 🤘🤒🤘

Hey Ashlena. Many times at festivals bands will not get a proper sound check. Instead they do a line check, just to make sure everything is hooked up, but sound levels are not adjusted properly. In fact, at their first ever festival appearance in the US, at Welcome to Rockville in Daytona, Dany didn't even have her own guitar in her InEarz, so she couldn't even hear what she was playing. And the Festival provided drum kit literally was falling apart around Pau (she nicknamed it the Franken-Kit. LOL) I am just upset that I did not know it was live on Amazon Prime because I have been busy with other things this week. Now it is unavailable to see. I am glad that others in TWA recorded it. You observed the guitar being SO loud in the beginning. Yes, I had that same experience when I saw TW open for Halestorm in Atlanta. I don't know what Lalo was hearing, but Dany's guitar was drowning out everything.

It´s great to see them! So much energy and now they are assuming rock star mode all the time. I guess Dany has learned what her yellow guitar can do now. On her gear run down she said she had not yet found out what she (Dany calls all of her guitars "she") can do!

The Show was as usual, a BLAST from our girls, TW perfomed so great. We did realize that the altitude took its toll, and in the end they were really tired but happy from the super show they offered. The "mustard" guitar it is the one that Matt Mellamy gifted to Dany. She told the story about it and it was that he asked what color she likes, she said, "Yellow", and he replied what kind of yellow, and she said... "Mustard"... and there it is!. Great!. We are really waiting for the tour and the European festivals to see them succeed and for more people to know The Warning and to make the Army bigger and bigger. Saludos from Monterrey! Pau also mentioned in an interview after the show that the altitude sapped her stamina. I think in the same interview they stated that they are taking advantage of every opportunity to play that they get so breaks may be few and far between. Also, guitarist who showed up during Martirio is a musician who has played with The Warning before when they were younger. He's been in a couple of bands. The band he is in currently is called Moderatto which he apparently formed with some friends in the late 90's. Not super familiar with him but I did watch an interview/podcast with the same dude that Dany did a pod/interview with recently. Dany also plugged his solo project after they finished the song. Buddy was also giving them their flowers and it felt kind of like a passing the baton moment. Also, the show in February. They mentioned just to keep an eye out for details. All I know is that the venue is supposedly holds 10,000 people.

Lots of complaining about the sound and insinuations on another channel that they should get a better crew. It's a matter of money and influence. They have a top-notch crew, but they are only one of many crews on the show. They were sixth or seventh band down from the headliner. Better than the bottom, but no soundcheck. If there was no broadcast (streaming), then Lalo would have it whipped together in moments, but the broadcast feed is very important (see the sponsor's name on top of the stage). Usually, the broadcast feed is picked off the stage before everything else and may be mixed by someone else. So, lots of distractions. Ale's mic wasn't turned on - she attended to that herself - then she had to semaphore the monitor engineer to get a mix in her ears. At one point, you see Dany pointing her finger down to the deck, probably meaning to turn something down in her ears. If TW was the headliner, everything would have been lined up ahead of time. If they were making the big $$$, Ale would have her own tech who would make sure everything was perfect before she took the stage. There's fan video by SLP where the audience cheering is relentless. That guy was the lead singer of Moderatto and supported The Warning in their early days.

LOTS of weirdness with the sound, like it's recorded strait off the board so we hear the sound guy jacking with levels the whole time which is for him to listen to, not the audience. There is a great comment at the argentina upload that explains how difficult the live sound mixing at a festival is. Maybe you'll find it. Problems can be: - no soundcheck - venue and streamingsound are two very different things - many people involved, not all motivated to help out. - adjustments have to be done on the fly - equipment failure - and many more Many commented that the sound at the venue itself was fine. The important things to take away for me is that they brought the energy, stage presence was great and all the new songs worked.

@ashlena Just found this today you gotta check it out. The Warning Live in LA 5-2-23 4k. Its an amazing show and Ale is on fire singing so much more than I've seen in a live show...

No way! Do they do automatic sun? Trying to steer clear of that song until Friday

I hope the Tecate Pa'l Norte festival is broadcast like this one. They play on the 31st. A festival in their home town will be awesome for them I'm sure. Pau has said there will be a surprise during that festival. Another new song maybe?

Yup. If time and money allowed... I would have booked already. It will be a phenomenal show. Just hope they do a full video. They came. They rocked. They conquered.

Its kinda of a shame that some big festivals are not doing soundchecks ( even with the big named artists ), I know it has to do with scheduling, but on the other hand you lose so much quality wise. Each place has a different acoustic setting, then you have to count in audience attendance and so much more. It's such a headache to get the perfect sound, but worth it. Thx Ashlena :)

Yeah you’d think being a festival they’d want it to sound great lol regardless they killed it

There are other fan videos that capture the full audio much better. ⚡️🤟 The guest guitarist was a long time friend named Jay De La Cueva. He said that The Warning are the future of Rock.

Honestly, I kinda like the recording. It has a really raw feeling to it. Sounds different, and that‘s refreshing.🤘

Who always puts on a great show you ask... Of course it's The Warning!!! And even if the live stream audio sucks, the TWA will watch it many times because they're just that good!!!

Ashley the guy that jumped in stage with them is Jay De la Cueva. A multi instrumentalist that just like them was a prodigy musical child in the early 80's . He started at like 12 yo in a Band called "microchips" and been in several others ever since.. hes's cool. But I did never knew he was sooo short haha He's wearing heel boots and is same height as Danny 😂 kzbin.info/www/bejne/fJXEdmmIr5KdfaMsi=_yotZ2uJzvmq7PO6

I know it’s a little too late. Lalo said in an interview that they had a festival the next week and had to send their equipment to Europe. They had to use some of their back up sound boards and none of their other sound systems. Hence the bad sound quality.

fun fact, thats the main stage, and the headliner was supoused to be Paramore before they cancelled all their shows, I was so sad because, I wasnt able to go and watch them live, I need them to come in a solo show I need to see them live, I literally cry everytime I watch videos of the last time they came to Mexico in 2022 because I couldnt go :(
