I actually felt this story was a breath of fresh air, addressing a subject most people tippy-toe around. These stories NEED to be out there to help kids who ARE going through divorce know that there’s hope at the end and that things can still be good.

This is why as an introvert I love movie, series, bl name it without the knowledge most of the teach out to the world I wouldn't know what I know, so the whole divorce is adult for children shit is wrong let them learn from a show like this that reasonates with them you'd be surprised what they get they talk like that cause they don't wanna address it to the kids and it's wrong, it's an excuse and they know it

As I started the movie (just to go to sleep to) I found myself getting entranced in its art and music. Nevertheless, it felt surface level and basic. But then.. As I got closer to the end of the story (that happy ending where everything is solved and perfect again) they twisted the story. I liked that. We start to see the characters change and develop and that life isn’t perfect.. it’s broken. The movie is portrayed with a message about divorce and the effect on children as a result. It had meaning, and even seeing the main character break down and get swallowed into darkness.. then to bear witness to her parents loving her regardless and accepting change was such a beautiful message. As a writer, it even inspired me. This is the kind of film I’d love to write someday. ❤ And this masterpiece was my absolute favorite song in the movie- in the same way that “A Wish Worth Making - Julia Michaels” sold me. 🎉 SOLID 8.5 RATING 👏🏽

When I hear this song, I hear colours of the wind from Pocahontas. It’s funny because Menken also composed that song when the movie was released in 95. Basically Alan just added certain parts of songs that he wrote to make this song. Cleaver
