André, I usually continue my core training until about 4 days before race (marathon) day. Do you recommend this as well for the Comrades? Strength training would have stopped about 2weeks before.

I only know about the "stop strength training 10 days before Comrades"- rule. You want to give your body an extra good rest before Comrades, so I would think it is best to also stopped core training 10 days before race day.
