My 5” knipex plier works on those brake nuts really well! It’s nice to pack just the pliers that can be used on several sizes

I have those in there as well, but the 8mm semi-open is much much faster :)

With either, how do u torque the nut correctly...essential to ensure no leaks but not strip it...sram bleed kits come with a ¾ crows foot adaptor for a torque wrench.

Not a fan of pliers for brake lines, funny enough, those "3/4 round, open end" wrenches are called "brake line wrenches" or just "line wrenches".

I've seen at least three different bicycle mechanic mobile tool kits videos. Nobody ever mentions to carry a JIS screwdriver for Derailleur adjustments, especially when dealing with Shimano components. Obviously this video is sponsored by Park tool so DSD-2, but you can buy a Vessel brand one for less than $10.
@Daniel-yg9sf2 жыл бұрын
Nice, great tip! Always wondered why none of my screwdrivers really fit well in the Shimano derailleurs. I'm gonna buy a set of JIS screwdrivers when I find a good deal.

Calvin is wrong, a normal chain splitter happily splits a Eagle chain...well my one does...done it 3 times on 3 new eagle chains. But an eagle xx1 or x01 chain only plays with eagle chain ring, thats true.

Are there CO2 heads that can release air then cut the air off so you can use it next time instead of just wasting a CO2 even if you only need a little more air?
