To be honest, I haven't really thought about rain in video games that much. For me it's mostly a random thing that happens. But now that you brought it up, the first thing I have in my mind that combines gaming and rain is totally the city of tears from Hollow Knight, the vibe would just be different (worse) if rain was absent and with the combination with that music it just feels better.

I highly agree! Rain in video games is just so calming and soothing. I'll never forget the first time I played MGS2 that used rain very well! And even as a game play mechanic if you stayed out in it for too long, Snake will catch a cold and might alert the guards with the sneezing

Love that your content is about appreciating the little things and smelling the roses in games. It is the most fulfilling way to play, especially open world games. Im starting KCD2 today, and when it first rains and im intensely immersed, Ill think of you. How you played skyrim is how i played it, and what I mod to improve the feeling of being in the moment.

Damn. These days when everything seems repetitive seeing something unique is so refreshing and your channel makes me feel refreshed. I love that you discuss topics that are usually not discussed. As a huge fan of nature, walks, rain, etc., your channel is a blessing. I love rain so much, and if it's raining at night, man, it's the ultimate therapy for me (both in the game and in irl). A bit unrelated, but I'm a biker, and I can't help but want to go on a ride when it's raining. (I know it's dangerous in the rain, but I love it.) I even have a separate playlist called " Nature " on my KZbin Music account. It contains ocean sounds, rain sounds, and other similar sounds. Anyway, I'm glad you also enjoy the rain. I subbed a few weeks back due to the The Weird Reasons I Walk in Video Games video, as I do the same thing, and this video reinforced the choice to sub because I'm also a big lover of rain (as well as snow and wind) in games. Great content, and made well at that. Perfect timing, too, as I just started my first ever playthrough of The Witcher 3 last night.

I love the vibe of your channel and I want to subscribe.... but do me a favor first: If you are going to talk about the A Plague Tale games make sure you mention *both*, not just the sequel, because you use footage of both games but never ever mention the first game. A Plague Tale: Innocence was a very good game which has been sadly overshadowed by its more "blockbuster styled" sequel, so please mention it as well so that people that haven't played those games understand that there was a game before the sequel and that everything the sequel did well the first game had already done as well.
