The unfinished nature of the scales and the knife in general make is seem more like a prototype than a finished product. I like the size and shape of it a lot. Pretty cool.

Yeah man, it's time. I fought it myself for a long, long time and in the end you either give in to the technology or you're left not able to do anything at all. Sucks, but it's reality.

I like the overall shape, but dear god those scales...and that pocket clip isn't doing it any favors either. Switch to liner lock, ditch whatever those scales are, add micarta, and thin the blade a bit. Then you got yourself a knife... FOUR screws at the back... Wow...

I'll probably be getting the Cinco flipper, and CEO flipper ( not bc they added the flipper to the CEO, but I've always wanted to check one out anyway, mine as well be the new model) That PSD looks cool to, but its to big for my state. I might round it out with the new Easel gt, always liked the origanl

That is certainly an odd knife. It isn't very flashy like the Mermaid but it definitely falls into that category of being a gimmick. They really should have made it very colorful cause obviously it is a joke. The company it was made for doesn't exist. Wonder if it did at release or if that is the reason it is unfinished??

I’m one of the few that can’t stand most Onion designs but all in all that’s not too bad. It’s great you have that box with knife. CRKT quality is all over the map. My Crossbones and CEO have some of the best quality I’ve felt in a CRKT.

I don't really believe that's true in all things. If that were the case the dresser I built for my wife would be the strongest dresser on earth cause I put more screws in that thing than you could count. But it only needed that many screws because I did a crappy job building it.

Honestly can't believe so many people love crkt. They have a bunch of good designs. But most of their stuff Is a bit over priced for what you get. They need better blade steels. Screw d2. Which they're late to the game and really going for. Not that d2 is bad. There's just way to much of it out there. And they're doubling down on assist which I'm not a fan of. I know it's supposed to be a way better assist but it's not for me. My opinions not trying to offend anyone. I have a couple of their knives. But I wouldn't be selling anything I have specifically for a crkt
