The priestesses could just be aspects of a single entity. Seeing 7 images and assuming they are disparate is linear thinking based on what we are used to dealing with in the physical realm. A consciousness would not be limited by the rules of physical reality. Every emotion or though could take on a life of its own. Hence the priestesses all bearing a different mask representing a different emotion or idea.

It’s clear from Qui Gon’s own recollection that the Shaman of the Whills and the Priestesses are not the same thing, because he says that “it was accomplished by the shaman of the whills.” That implies that the Shaman was another person that had passed the trials and became a force ghost. The Whills were actually mentioned in the very first starwars film, that's right all the way back in 1977, they were mentioned in the opening crawl and so was the entire star wars lore, but it was all cut out of the final cut because at the time it took too long to explain and didn't add to anything that was happening on screen. But it's crazy to think that George had the whole story right from the beginning and we didn't find out about it until over 30 years later.

I embrace the Lore that the "Clone Wars" TV Series has placed in the new Disney STAR WARS Universe, the story telling of each episode set the standard of how everything STAR WARS needs to be treated and the CLONE WARS staff manage to pull this off in amazing fashion. Now with that said this episode (Qui-Gon Force Ghost) Story was one of only a few stories that I'm still having trouble liking. Yoda comes off to me like a atheists of the Force, he so strictly challenges what he is experiencing when Qui-Gon Jinn contacts him as a trick or his imagination when in fact to me he should have no issue believing what is happening to him through the Living Force. Now I always felt that Yoda and the wisest of the Jedi before him had already known about this transitioning of the Force but if it has recently just came forth then I am ok with it but still the writers should have had Yoda have more of a open mind when the contact from Qui-Gon was made that would of soften the impact of this story and the small damage it has done to Master Yoda's Character and of what we as the viewer thought Master Yoda knowledge of the Force was. Now I would like to take a moment to Thank Carrie Fisher for the sacrifices she made as an actress for her fans while playing the Role of Princess Leia, Carrie Fisher Aphrodite will always place second to your Beauty and your Wisdom as a Role Model to woman of all ages will always stand the test of time. Awesome discussion! Any thoughts on Snoke maybe being a Shaman of the Whills? Originally it was stated that Qui-Gon Jinn had learned how to retain his individuality after death from a Shaman. Then it starts to blur into Yoda learning that secret from the Force Priestesses. I thought the idea of Shaman was pretty cool. We have Guardians of the Whills, The Book of Whills, The Ancient Order of Whills, and maybe Shaman of the Whills? If he is or was a Shaman, it might help explain why we see Snoke in his physical form vs a spiritual form. I know Star Wars moved away from the Shaman idea and went to the Force Priestesses but I still like the idea of Qui Gon coming across a wandering Shaman. Great job fellas! Keep it up!

If these Shamans are the Force itself then they aren't really characters, and they wouldn't interfere with happenings in the galaxy. So Abeloth would still be considered the most powerful character including Legends and Sidious would be considered the most powerful Canon character. EDIT: Also there's no case of "If Abeloth attacked a Shaman they would win instantly because they're the Force".Because they're the Force, Abeloth couldn't attack them. There can't be a fight between a living being (even a Force entity) and the Force itself. So the Shaman wouldn't be considered a "character" if they're the Force itself.

I really love how you take and explore these subjects of the universe! Especially Darth Maul and Qui Gon Jinn are my absolute favorite characters of the films, as they were so extremely complex and not that known, plus immensely powerful! In your video about what would happen if Darth Maul would've become a Jedi, then how do you see Qui Gon Jinns story exceed. Maul is kinda the reason for Anakins training with Obi Wan, which brought him closer to Padme, and therefore closer to Palpatine. This kinda changes the whole aspect of Lucas' storyline. On the side, how old do you reckon Grievious are? Could Palpatine have used him earlier than Episode 3? Could he have been used instead of Maul if he would've become a Jedi? Best Regards!
