Thanks for sharing these wildlife videos from your area Shawn... I think I saw a nice ( 10 ) pointer in there! A friend of mine a few years back now, shot a ( 11 ) pointer on my property that dressed out at 174 Lbs. plus he had it mounted. I do allow hunting on my property, I know most of the hunters as typically they will stop by & say hello, however there are some I don't know & they tend to take it for granted they can hunt anyone's property if it isn't posted... Hunting is like driving a car, it is a privilege, NOT a right...I have seen fisher cats on the property as well here in VT as they were introduced many, many years ago to get the porcupine population under control as now we have lots of porcupines & no shortage of fishers! We had a creek behind our farm, so sometimes the kids and I would walk down there. One hot summer we walked down the middle of it, which would get waist high, then when my 6 yr old daughter was resting on the bank, a doe jumped right over her head. I wish all the wolves, coyotes, and big cats, cougars etc., were dead, as I can’t stand to see them eat calves and fawns etc., alive. I raised 5 baby coons, till they were old enough to give away, kept one, Willy, and I think that if given rabies shots, are way better pets than cats. He would follow me everywhere.
