Having the animals revert to their primal natures would make more sense. Tigger and Owl feast on Rabbit and Eeyore and Pooh & Piglet have to kill them in self-defense. This makes them go insane THEN in the sequel, we see Tigger & Owl are a pair of predator mutants living on the other side of the woods.

You'd think they learned from the first time. You got a child wandering into the deep woods and hanging out with fantastical creatures. There's a lot of dark ways this could go. I was half expecting in the first movie that Chris was a schizo and rediscovering his old friends as twisted monsters is because he stopped his meds or something.
@ashuraomega1000Ай бұрын
That concept is actually somewhat in the sequel but not in the way you'd expect. The second film implies that Pooh and the gang were always murderous psychopaths and that Christopher's mind was only allowing him to see what he wanted to see when he first met them. It's actually one of the more interesting concepts of the film but of course like everything else it goes nowhere

As a Brit, there's far too many guns in this from the look of things, the only guns you realistically see in the hands of the public here are shotguns (farmers, hunters and clay shooters), very occasionally long rifles (though these are rarer and are usually for deer hunting in scotland, target shooting at clubs or small caliber pest control) and police and military rifles (g36 and sa80 which are only ever seen in busy areas, in armed responce situations or in military parades), pistols and handguns are very illegal outside of historical contexts (like flintlocks) or shooting clubs (usually have stocks added to them) you don't get people owning 1911s or the like here because you'll end up arrested. Guns really aren't a thing for 90% of people here, I live in the Welsh countryside and the only people here with guns are farmers who use them for pest control.

They made the first movie with a budget of 50,000 and grossed 50 million, but sure go ahead and let him know what bad ideas he has xD
@MisterMysteryMan14 күн бұрын
@@TheBolondron The budget definitely shows in the first movie. And considering it was released nationwide, a decent movie will gross about $100 million, whereas a good movie higher. $50 million for a budget of $50k of course SOUNDS good, but considering even some "meh" movies make double that, it doesn't really prove much except that if you polish a turd well enough, a few people will probably say "how neat" and look at it for the sake of looking at it. This is one of those cases.

Them making the first film a movie in the universe is am amazing idea since its still what happened and a great way to replace the actors and would make more sense due to the first movies not so good quality

Seems like the creators have reached out to a lot of KZbinrs and I’ve noticed a trend of KZbinrs that heavily criticized the first one praising this absolutely god awful second one. Thank you for just being honest.

Wait..PRAISING..THIS ABOMINATION? Do they have any dignity? Can you name the KZbinrs so I know to never trust them again

Sounds like quite the blend of sequel and reimagination! Seems like it might've been a questionable take on a beloved children's character. The infusion of horror seems overplayed too.

I think the movie was just made for fun. They threw in scenes from everyone’s favorite horror character, also they could’ve done better, and they might do that soon where Christopher goes into the old hole into their world, my guess is it’ll be in the next or the last ever movie produced in that lineup. Also have a feeling where they might make a movie where Chris goes and tries to find their burials and try to burn it on fire like what they did in the supernatural series. Movie is made to be fun in my opinion and not to be takened serious, if that’s their goal.

In my opinion this was "fun bad" compared to the first one which was just bad all around. It felt more self aware but still a bit too serious at times if they lean into more self awareness and improve the over the top factor about it then the 3rd one will be better. At least the filmmakers are trying to improve.

Yep. It actually had a story and writing that gave little sprinkles of personality to the gang

I think when owl said “there is no god” it was a call back to chucky in the curse of chucky? Maybe Ik there’s probably more characters who’ve said that before tho
