I’ll never forget game 5. I understand bad calls happen but that was way over the line. They even did video review of calls that showed they were wrong, we all saw it, and they didn’t do the right thing. It’s impossible they were fair. I didn’t even care who won, I just wanted a fair finals series.
@heinleinreader5 сағат бұрын
@@ericMTI agree. I certainly didn't have a horse in that race as the refs had already cheated my team out by then. Both Fever-Sun games were extremely questionable on the officiating. Game 2 had a 29-8 FT differential. That's outrageous.
@philip69275 сағат бұрын
The referees should be investigated for helping to fix the outcome of games, either on their own or THEY ARE CARRYING OUT THE LEAGUE'S DIRECTIONS. You can't have three referees watching very obvious FLAGRANT fouls taking place right in front of these referees' eyes without these fouls being called and chalking it up to just incompetence.
@philip69275 сағат бұрын
CLEARLY, the games are fixed, and the referees are carrying out the agenda of the league to fix the outcome of games. THE LEAGUE HAS GIVEN THE REFEREES THE GREEN LIGHT TO IGNORE OBVIOUSLY DANGEROUS FLAGRANT FOUL to Caitlin Clark that are being committed RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE EYES OF THREE referees. This is not a question of referee incompetence. This is game fixing or intentional attempts to injure the most popular player in the league.

The Sky have, actually, a LESS than 0 chance at Sabally. They have nobody Dallas wants. I would also point out that the people suggesting the Liberty and saying that they have almost as much cap space as the Fever miss one very important point. They also have multiple FAs that are going to eat that up, and NY can only core one of them. They really DON'T have the cap space Indiana does as of this moment, Indiana has one FA to resign with no need to core her first. They also have 11 of 12 roster spots currently filled. That's signing Janelle Salaun and resigning Kelsey Mitchell. Then comes the "trade" for Sabally. Trading Dallas Nalyssa Smith is a given. She's gone no matter what. You dont go on a podcast with your girlfriend and laugh about her trying to gouge the eyes right out of your teammates head. That shouldn't need to be said. What's worse is she tried to play it off like it never happened. If Dallas gets stupid and starts making ridiculous demands, then simply tell Dallas good-bye. We would have Salaun at that point, and I would trust her, even as young as she may be. Trade Smith to Chicago for the hot dog vendor and the 1st and 2nd this year plus the 2nd and 3rd next year. You could also ask for Chennedy Carter so you can send in Caitlin to tell her that coach said "you're fired." That's what I would call sweet revenge for the roller derby without skates hip check.

I've made this comparison before. It took Em a long time to earn respect among his peers, particularly before breaking through. But once he did, one of the things that made it hard for him to get respect now suddenly worked in his favor. He became the biggest, best selling rapper of all time. Now he's widely considered to be one of the greats. The same will likely happen for CC. All of this perceived hate will eventually die down. She seems to be strong enough to tough it out in the meantime.

You’re smart enough to know that Carter would destroy any team within the inside be like letting a bomb go off inside the locker room
@heinleinreader4 сағат бұрын
My only purpose in considering Chicago for Smith is to take all their draft picks and saddle them with Smith, and if Chicago will agree to it, take Chennedy Carter as well. I would give up one of 2nd round picks if they will include Carter. There's a madness to my method here. You get Carter so Caitlin Clark can go in and tell her personally that coach said she was cut. Then I look at what I can get for Wheeler, say a cheaper, younger hybrid guard rather than an overpriced shooting guard playing point I might throw in the 3rd round pick next year. Trading guard for guard won't force you to need anything. If Samuelson won't negotiate down, do the same with her. Find a team that has a big for about $100.000, or less if you can. Go all in on youth and marketability. Go to Europe for replacements for Wheeler and Samuelson if need be. They, at least, have experience. So, let's review. Two 1st round picks. Two 2nd round picks. Starting five at that point of Janelle Salaun at power, Boston at center, Lexie at wing, Mitchell at shooting guard, and Caitlin Clark at point. We have Dantas, Berger and Saxton on the bench. Pick up another European big for bench depth. Then draft another big and a hybrid guard with the two 1st round picks. Take a big, a legitimate center if you can to back up Boston and Dantas in the rotation. This is just a fantasy plan to screw with Chicago if Dallas wants to be stupid. Some moron suggested that Dallas would be stupid enough to ask for Clark, Mitchell, or Boston, or even some combination thereof for Sabally, the often injured player who's never played a complete season, or even close to one, and would still demand a raft of draft picks. This was clearly a Dallas fanatic, likely a serial killer in the making.
