AshfallDude here. First, thank you for making this! It’s refreshing to see someone not take Shadow Raven seriously. I’m relieved this video exists. Second, some corrections/context: 1. I’m not trans or bi, that stuff along with everything about the “collection” is stuff made up by a former developer and his friends. People call me an egg sometimes, but that’s as far as that goes. 2. DocBot described himself as being a fascist in the middle of a Fallout themed TTRPG session. He later described believing in “autogynaphelia” and so I chose to not let him enter the project when he asked to be a writer. 3. Allout Monte was removed for inactivity. Fun fact, Shadow Raven Studios video came out the day after I last spoke to him. 4. Luka is a moderator and a play tester for Fallout: Ashfall. My guess is that because I’ve been friends with her longer than I’ve been a modder, most people see it as a conflict of interest - but that’s just a guess. 5. The Submarine being from TurboSquid is a fake screenshot. If you look up the username in that screenshot and look for a submarine you get a completely different model. 6. In the original upload for part 2 of Shadow Raven’s video, he had a complication showing off the discord information of a bunch of LGBT members of our server who had pronouns in their bio, after enough pushback he deleted it and uploaded the edited version you were briefly looking at. If you go to about the halfway point you can actually see him talking about the part he removed. 7. In his second video he pretty much admits that he just blindly took everything the anonymous tip said to him at face value and assumed it was all real.

The least you could do is actually contact AshfallDude, Cellblock Psycho or anyone on the Ashfall Dev team to get some level of clarification on what and who is on the project. Ashfalldude is not trans. He's a cis gendered man. Docbot is not slightly rightwing, he's far right. Shadowraven and most of the community covering the project are getting the run around by a angry former dev named Allout Monte. Ashfalldude is kind of bad at his job as lead and is in the process of stepping down. Luka Starflower is just a moderator, I don't think she has much involvement in the project at all. This whole thing is kind of frustrating. This is largely old news. Shadowraven got into the Cellblock Psycho server for clarification, got it and found out how badly he got this info. Kind of like how you are, since you're coming up with hypothetical situations that you have no connection or information on to to give explanation. Which people will take at face value without anything else. The one person you don't want to talk to is Allout Monte. He's become this seething lolcow that's doing everything in his power to slander Ashfall as a project as he has a personal vendetta against Ashfalldude. He's organizing a hate brigade against the project and probably soon anyone involved with it. Regardless of the actual content of the mod or not. You should have Cellblockpsycho on the show to interview and talk about this whole situation as it's getting out of hand.

I went on shadowraven’s channel a while back and the first thing I saw was him, apropos of nothing, saying he wasn’t a pedophile and to ignore people saying he was one. It was like the always sunny clip where it’s like “there’s no faster way to make people think you’re a pedophile than talking about it” I pointed that out to him and he banned me. To be fair, I had also made fun of him for his video being terrible and using AI art for his channel banner (the characters didn’t even match with their details) and not deleting the video despite him admitting everything in it was incorrect and in bad faith, but the fact that the only thing he took exception to was the one relatively civil thing I said kind of leads me to assume the worst given the subject matter.

It had NOTHING to do with the mod "being woke or not." I've been keeping silent mostly just because such a thing is stupid and idiotic and anyone who knows me in the proximity of modding knows I am not even adjacent to the worldviews or beliefs of this "anti-woke" thing. Seeing it get so out of hand has made me think hard on if that silence I've had is having people assume I'm "allied" to these people. I'm not. There is the steam workshop which is mainly player skins/maps/gamemodes etc., but CS itself was first a mod before being picked up by valve. Fallout: Ashfall is a very interesting story because AshfallDude (who afaik isn’t trans or LGBT except maybe asexual depending on who you ask) has a ton of beef with and is kind of hated by most of the modding community but has barely done anything in it outside of Ashfall. We’re talking about a guy who got under a lot of people’s skin before they even released their first mod and mostly by people who had never actually met him. I’ve only talked to the guy twice and imo he’s just incredibly socially awkward and somebody who grew up in (and is possibly traumatized by) a heavily restrictive household. He/she didn’t seem like somebody who was used to people being nice to them and one time got really nervous and defensive when I said they were doing a good job on the mod. In both instances where I was in a call with him he had to leave because his roommate was harassing him, so I don’t think AshfallDude is in a very good living situation either. Shadow Raven’s video is basically a compilation of every weird rumors and stories that people in the NV modding community tell each other about AshfallDude (most of them started by two former Ashfall writers named Allout Monte and Krimson Graey). People tend to act like he’s more of this weird internet myth than an actual person and it doesn’t shock me at all that he decided to step away from modding entirely. Hopefully things get better for AshfallDude. I think the thing he (or possibly she) seriously needs right now is a genuine friend who can help him work though his more antisocial personality traits.

Going to copy paste what I said to you from Aehab's post: Never was Allout's friend. That's literally just a misconception due to me having criticized moments during his time being in Ashfall where he was mistreated. Beyond that, I never subscribed to his sudden hate brigade or his constant wrath against AshfallDude. I told Monte on the last conversation I had with him to move on when he got kicked. He didn't listen. Allout Monte had a bad habit of being exaggerative and demanding things to happen such as the Ashfall Trailer Showcase that got leaked (which me and another member wanted to take into our own hands to better craft cause the quality was not great.) We ended up scrapping the showcase before I left because it just wasn't honest to anything we at the time could present. I left months before Allout Monte was kicked due to issues personal as I've stated. I have no involvement whatsoever to the hate brigade ShadowRaven started, these alts started, and seemingly Allout is complicit in with "his own version of Ashfall." I moved onto other projects with other current devs of Ashfall.

Man, as NV enjoyer I dont even care about mod authors politics or their fav factions, I just want ONE good dlc sized mod, New California failed, Frontiers also failed in alot of aspects(except Unsafe Harbour, that side quest was unironically so great it was even better then beyond the beef side quest in base game NV and beyond the beef was already one of my fav side quests). So I really hope this or Neu Mexico or other DLC size mods succeed because NV deserves to have a good dlc sized mod ;(
