Glad to hear an audio of this , is this the unabridged text , Frank's actual words , and not a water down version? Hope not, I like to hear his original words. I never knew the Tin Man's story, how awful for him, I'm surprised he didn't ask to be human rather than a heart, he had his head cut off, how could he live? Why was his Ax enchanted again...was the witch jealous or something? The witch of the east sounds like she plays a big part of the tin man.

He didn't die because the magic is what is referred to as a Soft Magic System. It has ambiguous rules open to interpretation and pretty much anything goes, as apposed to a Hard Magic System where there are strict rules the magic must follow. I believe I heard at the beginning that it was unabridged, which would mean they didn't change any words or formatting. The ax was enchanted because his Mother In Law to be didn't want to lose her daughter's services so she asked with wicked witch of the east to curse him. Sorry you were ridiculed for your interest!
