The photograph starting at 102 in the video is not Winfield Hall, but Shadow Lawn in West Long Branch, NJ. It was built in 1927 by Hubert T. Parsons, the president of Woolworth & Company. He hired renowned architect Horace Trumbauer who built other great houses like Whitemarsh Hall, the Elms, Rough Point and more.

The world famous socialite Barbara Hutton lived at this house with her grandparents after her mother committed suicide way back in the 1920s . A devastating fire destroyed this beautiful house a few years ago.

No, the house was not destroyed. A couple rooms were destroyed by fire, including the original billiards room.

My Dad and Brother worked here in 1980s. I myself used my dads 1965 Gladiator Jeep, with dump bed for Ocean Beach Garbage Truck. I made a dozen dumps to Medford Autowreck for my dad to Junk the Boiler. It was Huge. 3500lbs Bumps. My Brother Designed and Built the Heating System. Seeing it like this is Repulsive. A building like this should be looked after. When the broke into the wall vault with a cutting torch burnt all the paper. Idiots. I have fond memoirs but this. What a shame.

Winfield Hall and Winfield Estate are not the same. F. W. lived in Winfield Estate. Winfield Hall was built by his granddaughter and I believe that is in the U. K.
