We need a new birth of chivalry! Men do need to be masculine but the right kind of masculinity, that is productive for society as well as for themselves! I hear men being challenged to do more workouts and fasting and that’s great and all but what about challenge to volunteer one’s time to help others in need! A good deed challenge! A challenge to socialize more with people from different walks of life and face to face, not just on the internet or on the phone. Those are definitely challenges to a lot of people today, myself included. We need to do this though! Our society is collapsing because of weak men and women!

When I went through a divorce they, the court, stripped me of my rights as a father, both legal and natural. They told me to just go away and send money. They saddled me with an artificial financial burden called child support and branded me as a deadbeat father. I could go on and on. God help me.

Help yourself and stop whining about your victimhood. Man made laws cannot take away your fatherhood. They can’t stop you from praying for your children (and your former wife), and growing and developing your own virtues to be the best father possible. Life is full of suffering and obstacles, but you need to be a man instead of ruled by fear and resentment

@@cindyrobertson3798 Do not lose hope and pray hard for your son and also ask your son to pray for this situation and his children., so you both pray to Saint Joseph, the greatest earthly father ever. I suffered a similar hell, and I can tell you that you must hope and believe in Jesus-God when evertyhing tells you to be discouraged, surrender and despair. There's such thing as holy stubbornness and holy ferocity, very quietly believing, however long it takes. That's why it's called faith. Plan your hopes for the long haul. Have your son and you read the short book: "Coached by Joan of Arc" by Alexandre Havard. That great Saint knows a lot about winning impossible fights when led by God. Viva Cristo Rey!! I really appreciate your story of how you handled your friendship with your lesbian friend, the utter respect and love you expressed, but the boundaries too, I love the reason you give and how you worded not wanting to introduce your young children to homosexual acts when they haven't been introduced to sexuality yet. It should be how everyone should be handling it, and if all anti-homosexuality people behaved as you did with that young woman, it wouldn't feel like there's a gay vs. straight war of hate going on. I also really appreciate how you are calling men to reclaim true masculinity without ever attacking and belittling homosexual men. Thank you Chris. This subject would usually get me rolling my eyes dismissively, but you got me to listen and even agree with you.

A father lays down his life for his wife and children in Christ. But if it is all about you giving them self, it is a sin. I know this because I gave Self to my first wife and my sons, and went to my church every Sunday to proof it. Reflecting that I had allowed Satan to manipulate my masculinity by allowing Satan to use my free will that only GodChristHolySpirit gives.

Hi, good vid eo long oberdue. please address the issue of celibacy & what a Cardinal shared in a secular podcast tht celibacy does not mean " one does not have sex, it really mrans one cannot be married " there is a lot ofconfision about this. How does this interpretation abot celibacy. How does the thrology of body deal with this isdue? As stated in bible too( those who can be eunacs, be eunachs)😮 whic was what many in society assumed celibacy was. Pls clarify . .
@billie5057 Жыл бұрын
I think, without seeing the podcast, he was taking about the difference between being celibate and being abstinent. Like, all unmarried unions are fornication so that would mean that person isn't celibate. If people do get married that means they aren't celibate. Both are not abstinent (from sex). One can be celibate but still masterbate or watch porn. But, being abstinent means none of that. Of course just being chaste in order with one's station in life is the best. These are technical terms that don't mean a whole lot. Like if you are married you don't engage in unnatural acts with your spouse or masterbate. That's being chaste. Likewise if you are single and you don't engage in sex outside of marriage or masterbate. That's being chaste too.

But who is going to protect the wife & child 6:37 from a physically, mentally & emotionally abusive husband? When is it okay to start trusting again in today's society?
@Seliz463 Жыл бұрын
Domestic violence and child abuse are extremely serious, devastating sins. But PTO many people have been fooled into believing that governmental interventions and the power of the state can remedy these social ills, and that government is the prime protector of women and children. Family violence is all about cultural norms, especially religious norms. And Christianity has been the greatest civilizing force in history, particularly in regards to the rights of women, the dignity of marriage, and the importance of creating homes that protect children. While governments can provide some intervention to enforce standard laws against assault and other crimes, the most important thing a government can do is promote (or at least not attack) Christian cultural values in regards to marriage and family. That has much more to do with shaping male behavior and attitudes towards women than anything a government can do

Men have become less interested in marriage because of many issues, including: 1) American women are taught from very young to be independent 2) state laws incentivize divorce 3) most of the time, it's assumed that the mother should get the kids and the father should have to fight for custody 4) most women are not virgins by the time they're ready to get married 5) cheeky and pervasive sayings that people take as gospel truth (happy wife, happy life; etc) 6) lots of women hold men to certain standards: 6 ft tall, 6 figures, owns a house, has a degree, etc. and won't hold themselves to comparable standards appropriate to women.

The difficulty is that most of the real men I ever knew died young. Like Jesus did. They are just too good for this world. Same with women who have become vain , savage and fake losing the graces of womanhood as displayed by Mother Mary
@Seliz463 Жыл бұрын
Christianity isn’t a death cult, this is nonsense. A good man might die young, but the point of living like Christ is to develop into a good husband and father, which generally means you live a long and healthy life. A flourishing society is built on good men living into grandfatherhood, and those conditions of life are what the Lord gives us in abundance. And there are plenty of good women who adore the Holy Mother and seek to imitate her. If you doubt that then maybe you should turn to Mary more often in prayer and ask her to show you

Chris, where is Christ in what you’re saying about this world of masculinity and femininity. Not Being one flesh. There are no marriages in heaven we are one flesh in Christ for those who believe and see Christ GodHolySpirit. Adam did not love Eve. He was allowing Eve to manipulate his one flesh. They both sinned by allowing Satan to manipulate their frail files and free will, which only God gives/God gave them. That’s why Jesus told us there are no marriages in heaven! By ChristGodHolySpirit we are one flesh. Chris, your whole dialogue is about Satan, trying to defile our free will that God gave us. If I have offended you in anyway in Christ, I apologize. Yours in Christ.
