I was in the US a couple of years ago and met Curt at the Larry Parks Memorial autocross, took me for a lap, very accommodating guy and something I won't forget.

This truck is fast. I've watched it run in plesington a bunch. The owner and his friends are really helpful and answer any questions about there cars and advice on my builds. I remember the first time I saw it I was very interested how low they got this truck and making it work. I tried looking under center of the truck and could not see a dang thing I bet it's no more than 3" off the ground. Looked under the front and saw the aluminum crossmember and control arms. I knew then and recognized it had corvette parts. This truck has inspired my build. 73 dodge d100 with c5 front and rear suspension along with complete drivetrain with the manual transaxle.

In the world of overdone LS swaps kind of a thing, and am usually not that inspired by that...this build is something totally worth doing. I freaking love this idea/build. Very impressive and BA.

Killer Blazer. If you ever need any custom fabrication work, Hills Rod & Custom is the place. Curt knows his stuff and is a super meticulous. He has done mini tubs, full tunnel and fabrication on a finished painted 1970 Camaro that turned out killer. He also did a complete list of upgrades and custom stuff for me on a 1969 K5 blazer bagged 2WD. Can't get much better then his work. Be prepared to leave his shop with your vehicle low, fast and loud.

Is that cage SCCA approved? I'm still pretty ignorant of cage design but most truck cages I have seen have the rear legs coming off of the main hoop at around a 45 degree angle plus a horizontal brace or two.

I thought about putting a disclaimer on the video that he’s not an actor but a car builder but decided against it. He wasn’t thrilled to be on camera but I wanted to profile the Blazer so I had to do a little convincing.
