Man what great timing. I just watched the 1st vid and then low and behold the long term review is here. Very cool. I appreciate the thoroughness of the review and honesty. Looks like despite the cost it is worth it. Great to hear you had good results the Hard Luck bearings. I've seen some reviews on line that weren't kind. Super helpful and fun review.

Great review Rory, I’d definitely give this board a go sounds like a lot of fun. Your initial set up video popped up on the home page and I came straight from there to here. Looking forward to your future videos mate.

Try the Elan redline board from a company in South Australia. Andy Walker is a good bloke. And Elan make great technical boards.

im 35 and im geting back into skating, i just about a complete and i only had so much to spend on a complete but i was able to find a cheap complete with very little compromise. i skate 7.75 so i got a normal enjoi deck that was on mark down to 30 bucks, since im skating a 7,.75 i was able to get trucks that cost around the same price as the mag lights which are the titanium indys for 25 each, ricta crystal core 95a 25 bucks, pig bearins that were the compromise until i get use to skaing againthey were 13. so the complete was 115 america before taxand then had to buy harder bushing since i skate tight trucks for 11 bucks........i just want to get back into the groove of things and then eventually i plan to buy one of these uber expanded 8.0 decks. i bought it for transportation more than anything but might as well give it agp....i was sponsored by a shop in my teen years. im glad people older are skaing. im pretty sure mullen found the best way to make the lightest board and strong enough because thing of how mullen fkates and hes older so he wants it to be light ass possible....pretty sure this deck and truck is exactly what mullen skates.

@@Rory-D i live in las vegas and its hot as fuck here so during summer i gotta skate late at night or very early during summer if im really trying to re learn my bag of tricks. i loved mullen growing up.....it was amazing watching him and daewon be so much different than everyone else. i loved the whole A-team roster as that was the real fiurst modern skating super team.

I mean not for nothing but you can get one of those flight decks just have somebody ship it to you after they get it I mean think you could even do it pretty cheap
@Rory-D2 жыл бұрын
I had a look at the time of making the video and i struggled to find shops in Australia that had them, I believe we do now that shipping has opened up a bit more.

I do on some videos, depends what I’m doing :)
@markifi Жыл бұрын
how heavy is it exactly
@Rory-D Жыл бұрын
They all vary depending on what size you buy, Almost Skateboards doesn't give a weight value on there website, but mine is 1.2kgs, but as I say in the video its marketed as the lightest board for its strength and to that end I would agree, I still skate it sometimes.
