I’ve been watching these for a few days…it’s mostly the same umpires that are making these calls. I do think that the box broadcasts put for the zone are a bit deceptive. A lot of the game is good catching and deceiving the officials, which is why I don’t want robot umpires. Human perception is integral to the game

numbers 9, 6, 2 are all strikes, or at least borderline. Even number 1 was close; the box is skewed way left of the plate amd if anything shoukd be skewed right given the angle of the pitcher to home plate. And you realize the spot you're using for measurement is simply where on the screen the ball hits the cather's mitt; it doesn't take into account spin or camera angle.

The umps are winning this war against the players when the players just take it. So what, you get thrown out. Take a stand and either go hard against the ump before getting thrown out or have your pitcher plunk the ump. MAN UP, OR SHUT-UP PLAYERS!
