You can almost guarantee 3 of those teams are gonna make the playoffs with winning records. I think that it's probably gonna end up being. Maybe the steelers, They always have a winning record. Cleveland could maybe take the spot away from them. But you also gotta keep a mind too like you might not even see it. Seem like you're a Buffalo or Miami. They in that division. My concerns with the Ravens signing The King seem to be justified. I've said all offseason that Lamar and Henry will steal production from each other. We saw this in spades last night.
@khamjaninja.Ай бұрын
Ravens fan perspective: It's not really Lamar or Henry - the problem is the O-line. They had to replace 3 starters this offseason. The new guys looked rough in camp and worse in preseason. So they put in 2 of the starting spots by pulling names from a hat - and for the 3rd spot, they put in the hat. That's almost literally true - the RT is a rotation of fellas who all equally looked bad. So Henry got no running room and Lamar was running for his life. The broader issue is that this O-line ... wasn't that great last year either. Or the year before that. Or the year before that. Lamar hasn't really had an amazing O-line since his first full starting season. On paper, their performance looks fine, but that's masked by how much work Lamar is doing to save the O-line's blushes. Not to say they've been terrible - they've been perfectly fine, even above average at times, but Lamar has not had that elite O-line that will give him extra leeway, extra margin for error, make him look good when he's not having a good game - not since 2019, when he won MVP despite working from a more limited playbook. Since then, however, Lamar has had less effective O-lines which are, at best, above-average but not special. And not coincidentally, Lamar performs better as he is given more leeway and control over the play calling. Last year, under the new OC, he was given more freedom than ever - and he played some of his best ball. BUT - anyone who watched the Ravens games last season will tell you that a lot of that was Lamar pulling off hero ball when things were collapsing around him. And unfortunately, that's probably why Lamar has developed bad habits. So much of the Ravens' offense success over the past few seasons has been Lamar playing hero ball - it's why he often plays his best in 2-minute drills. But that affects his progressions, his vision, and his mechanics. His deep ball isn't great because his mechanics are often sloppy, because he's not used to a clean pocket deep throw. So he sorta janks it a little, even when he does have the time. His accuracy suffers. And the coaches are afraid to mess with his mechanics because they're afraid they'll lose Lamar's hero-ball superpowers, which are so vital to the Raven's success. This is gonna be a real problem this year, though - because the Ravens O-line is genuinely bad this year. Stanley and Linderbaum are good when healthy, but the other three are two traffic cones and a high-vis vest (that rotates with another high-vis vest). I actually think this will be a disappointing season for the Ravens. Either it will be a legitimately horrid season and the Ravens end up with a losing record - or they will underwhelm, scrape into the playoffs because of Lamar pulling out a couple hero finishes, and then lose convincingly in the first round.

Now wait wait wait. Ya'll gave Juwaan Taylor shit for all his calls but when it's a non-Chiefs player....c'mon now keep the energy.

How "King Henry" works is u give it to him 30+ times he will run straight up and get 2 yards a carry till he finally breaks a long run. That was 5 years ago as well.
@johnkluge3421Ай бұрын
They should have spent the eight million to receivers not an over 30 running back who doesn’t fit in their offense
@matrixphijrАй бұрын
Henry will break down if he gets 25-30 carries every game. And we already know Lamar will get hurt if he runs this much all year. I thought they fired Roman as their OC because he ran too much?

Blaming refs and finding ways to make things about Russell Wilson. All broncos fans are the same. Sad.

Stop bitching about the officials calling them for illegal formation when literally last year the chiefs got that same penalty constantly in week 1 and 2

and you guys bitched about it constantly lmao

@@cshepard09 true, but we got told to stop and that we pay the refs. The cycle continues

Mahomes had his worst ever INT too

Idk if he's just trying to do highlight reels here. He just can't see the damn field. There were a few times he had clean pockets and open receivers but just panicked

I had a spit take when Perna dropped the "many angles of Mahomes interception" 😂 Amazing work as always❤

People are complaining about the refs being strict on the way the Ravens lined up but were perfectly fine when they made Jawaan Taylor the most penalized play in the NFL because of the way he lined up. Completely ignoring the fact that Taylor lined up the same way his whole career with the Jags.

Watch the tape and look at Stanley’s helmet vs. Taylor’s helmet then explain why the chiefs RT was not penalized once on their “emphasized” phantom rule.
@jimboslice69420Ай бұрын
@@vadermug351 agreed. it was glaringly obvious the chiefs were more guilty more often then the ravens (not to mention the dozen false starts by the chiefs). weird all the sheeple out there living with their eyes closed

Love this. Literally everything u said was my thoughts exactly. However, (im not a ceifs fan) There was a no call on the late hit on mahomes on the sideline. The only thing u didnt mention. Other than that, 10/10 video

Go back to the 2023 season. Week 1. The Chiefs vs the Lions. The refs were calling the same penalty on the Chiefs over and over again. Again, the excuse was that the NFL wanted to put a point of emphasis on illegal formations this year.
@jimboslice69420Ай бұрын
your point is embarrassingly off topic. the point is this game was called unfairly. the ravens were getting called on something that looked worse than splitting hairs whereas the chiefs werent getting the same call even though it was obvious to anybody who was paying attention they were more guilty. not to mention the false starts my god... a lot of blind and deaf fanbases out there and you're another great example of someone who didnt listen to what was said then had an unrelated response, getting us nowhere
