I actually have first hand knowledge on this one! Cars like that are almost always wrapped in a clear protective film that protects their paint or wraps from rock chips and other damages.

Clear protection is used to protect the original paint without changing the colour, these cars are vinyl wrapped with coloured films for customisation purposes. Temporary sticky note glue is unlikely to damage any type of vinyl wrap, and I think it wouldn't damage paint either especially with a good wax coating.

Sticky notes aren't recyclable to my knowledge, due to the ink that is used to color them along with the adhesive. Either way, recyclable or not, this is wasteful and disgusting. whatever, it's a family channel. it's gonna be that way.
