The worst character is Peter. He's rude, abusive, arrogant, a terrible husband and father and has gone from a dumb but good intentioned man to a complete sociopath. The only person even close to his level is Lois, who is equally abusive and arrogant sometimes, mainly towards Meg. They're both some of the worst parents, partners and people in cartoon history.

It’s even worse for Brian when you remember Seth has not been actively involved (besides voice acting) in episodes since 2010. Brian is supposed to be a representation of who Seth is, but he never raises questions on what direction the show is taking with his character. I don’t think Brian would have turned out to be so horrible had the creator been involved.

Meg is actually a very nice person in the show and if you watch Family Guy season one episode one you would see Peter actually doing something that meg wanted so Peter may be a bad dad at most times he does have his moments and I get that meg needing to be in the list but she has grown as a character and showed in the episode where the family was stuck inside due to the rain and Brian taking the "mushrooms" shows that meg can stand up for herself but the family will fall apart if they don't have someone to hate all the time so Meg endures it but still loves her family so she is definitely the least hated character in Family Guy and have a great day and or night.

Brian had an awful life being separated from his mum and siblings at a young age, so in his point of view, you got to feel bad for the character, so he is definitely not the worst character because you have peter and lois who is mean to everyone

I would say Brian's downfall started when he was brought back to life. He wasn't the same person (or dog, in this case) after that car hit him. Possibly a consequence of Stewie traveling back in time

You putting Carter Pewdershmidt, Connie Da'Mico, Herbert The Pervert, and Bertram on the list of the worst characters from Family Guy I agree with, but I disagree with Vinny, Brian Griffin, and Meg Griffin being put on here. Sure Meg might be the clear punching bag of the entire show, and Vinny may have only been in three episodes, yet they're one of the nicest compassionate characters on the show who don't deserve to be titled as one of the worst. Also Brian might've had plenty of moments as a complete douchebag, though he can be a good dog at times, especially caring for Stewie. I would personally put Glenn Quagmire on the list instead because even if he's funny. His character always wanting to have sex with women trying to hook up with his friend's wives before is just messed up, and even picks on Brian not even caring for him when he fell off the roof proving that he's not a cat.📺🧑🏻🐕

The fact that Quagmire somehow didn’t make this list kinda says a lot about whoever wrote the script here…Yeah, Brian is a pretentious, hypocritical jerk that goes against his original character, but Quagmire’s roast had no validity considering Quagmire is canonically a rapist, has commited sex acts with minors, kidnapping, human trafficking, etc. Definitely one of the funniest characters but how bro not make the list?

Man this video was a good one and highly accurate, I agree with a lot of what the video mentioned but it was hard to watch as a former Family Guy fan, mostly just because of what I just said. I agree with a good portion of these rankings except for Vinny. Vinny shouldn’t be on this list considering he is a generally a nice, wise and genuinely helpful dog and an even better member to the Griffin Family (temporarily of course). But no one can blame him though for being thoroughly underutilized in the Family Guy canon. Which leads me on to certain rankings on the list, and these are the reasons why I began to stop watching Family Guy, certain characters are either flanderized, poorly written, never or barely seen again or just genuinely not hilarious. Certain characters are highly annoying on purpose such as Vern, Johnny and Neil Goldman while someone like Connie, or Herbert are intended to be unlikable due to Connie falling for the school bully/mean girl trope and Herbert’s overall characterization can speak for himself due to his horrendous occupation. Meg, Vinny, Bonnie, and even Brian could have dodged a bullet if it weren’t for their fall from grace, but that should not be blamed on them, it’s just that they got worse due to the above reasons.
