Man, I really liked Strike Force, back in the day some great matches. Nick Diaz vs Frank Shamrock, Gilbert Melendez vs Jorge Masvidal, Jake Shields vs Dan Henderson. Not to mention the mediocre rise of Daniel Cornier during that Heavyweight GP when they pulled Alistair Overeem to liver kick Brock Lesnar into retirement and they subbed DC in for him in the tournament, and he rag dolled Josh Barnett for the GP championship.

Just don’t buy bad games. Increasing the barrier to entry means less potential breakout hits. Despite how much people meme’d on it: among us wouldn’t have been able to succeed if the requirements were higher. Part of the reason for steams massive success is due to its lax requirements for uploading a game. Plus, those restrictions don’t always work as even before steam made it $100 to upload a game; people were still publishing asset flips on to the platform.

I might be alone here - and I’m certainly not condoning this, especially for the price - but there’s something weirdly charming about this. It reminds me of when I was in middle school; riding my bike to the used book store and picking up a terrible $5 secondhand pc game purely off of the box art. Again, *not at all* justifying this, but it brought back some nice old memories.

When I saw this game on the Playstation store when it dropped, I saw the art and thought it looked like the Delta Force: Black Hawk Down Team Sabre expansion. And when I looked into it, it looked like it released around the same time. The good news is, the dev team is looking like some choice subjects to be hired by DICE or Ubisoft.

The old Ghost Recons were super fun. Even the multiplayer where you could still command your AI team while playing against other players. Wish some of those features could be brought back to modern games.

I'm mainly a console gamer but I did dabble in pc gaming for a while so I'm always worried that I'll be scammed by a pc gaming developer. This is one reason why this channel and others like it are a God sent. That thing with the leaf ailiasing in the water is a common issue in many games. I have seen that in BF also sometimes. That is because of the reflection captures i think it was... Or something like that. I think planar reflection helps on that

@Unknown Nomad hehe... That is not always supported on large maps. Best for mirrors and water puddels. Now the best way to avoid that stuff is the new reflection tech like RT or Unreal 5's new lumen tech.... For SSR i think there is a few other things you need to fix it. Lightmass importance volume is of course needed i think. And to make sure you have a good light map?! Also.... It looked like the water shader was pretty bad also. I have given up to fix that stuff.. I just use UE5 now for open worlds with ocean reflections.

So the chopper coming in at 2:40... I'm not heli expert, let's be clear, but I'm pretty sure the blades on a chopper don't bend *downwards* when it's flying, they are more straight and even have a slight upwards bend. Why? Because the weight of the chopper is pulling down on them, while the blades exert an upwards force. Couldn't even be bothered to make a chopper look like it was actually flying. Wow.
