And driving in reverse plays this loud tire screeching sound. And the nightride course which originally caused the game to crash, is now playable but the course itself is just the first course mirrored.

It's weird how all the mountains off the course have collision but the one fucking bridge thats on the course doesn't.

The mountains are considered a part of the ground which actually still doesn't even have collision detection. Jerma was actually pretty accurate with the whole "magnet truck" thing. The ground is the bottom point at which the truck is dragged along. The mountains are still considered a part of the ground, not an object. The bridge, on the other hand, IS an object. And, the stupid motherfuckers never got around to figuring out how collision detection works between objects.

I've heard of the glitch happening where you instantly win after passing the first checkpoint, and after watching this video, I think I know what the problem is. Basically, it works like this: When you start a race, you're already "touching" the first checkpoint. You haven't gone through it yet, but you're in the immediate radius. This causes you to win instantly when the glitch occurs. The glitch itself is actually pretty simple. Basically, when you win a race, the "You're Winner" screen pops up. This is because of coding that tells the game to do so. It's what's typically called a "script". A good analogy is that it's like an on/off switch. Essentially, it starts in the "off" position. When the requirements for completing a race (passing all the checkpoints before your opponent does the same, for example) are met, the "switch" is turned on, which causes the "Winner" screen to pop up. The reason Jerma kept winning instantly is because the lazy-ass programmers never bothered to tell the game to turn the "switch" off again. As a result, due to the player starting a race while in the vicinity of the first checkpoint, they instantly win without even having a chance to move. Idiot programming at it's finest, ladies and gents.

It doesnt build up infinintly. There is a limit. Its 12.8 undicillion miles per hour, once you reach that speed the game puts the truck in a state of omnipresence and you cross all the checkpoints and finish line at that exact moment.

I think the infinite you’re winner glitch is probably because of a temp value regarding the recorded checkpoints wasn’t reset after the first game, so it thinks you have all the checkpoints and it spawns you at the finish line causing you to instantly win.
