Probably worth mentioning that Maze Action and Demolition Girl were both originally from the Japanese "Simple" series, which were basically homebrew games made by amateur devs, sold at pocket-money prices. They were all over the shop in terms of subject matter, playability, and technical proficiency :) The most notable thing to come out of the Simple series was probably the Earth Defense Force games. EDF! EDF! :)

Sad to admit I have this game. In the 2000s I had such a horrendous job that I needed to buy myself a "toy" to make up for the week or day I had. Most times than not it turned out being a PS2 game and this title was -- thankfully in a cheaper used form -- one of those toys. I played it once. Even with such a short supply of videos, not to mention the extended periods of nothing between them, I sincerely think this may be my favorite gaming channel on KZbin. How the hell you even find half these games, I'll never know. If you wanna play a really awful game for the PS2, try The DaVinci Code. While it's not the worst game ever, most of the games I've seen you play throughout this series seem like real contenders for that one, it is fucking confusing and frustrating beyond belief. At a certain point in the game, when I was playing it around the age of 14 or something, I literally remember taking the game out of the PS2 and snapping it in half. I couldn't even be bothered with selling the fuckin' thing! I didn't care what I'd get for it because the game was so outrageously trash to me that I just immediately had to do something about it. Any amount of effort that was involved in its development couldn't save it from being an absolute dud. The DaVinci Code for PS2 and Terminator 2 for Super Nintendo are the worst games I've ever played.
