I could tell from their first music video, their debut, that @KM-gs2vr had mentioned that he wasn't bringing anything to the group at all, just an extra; every music video felt like that. He was up to no good, but I'm not sure to what extent back then until the incident. He was just greedy. Even his solos were cringed. His greed led him to this. And apparently, it's not enough since he will try to do the same thing again, but in another county. Whether the people close to him knew or not, let him do it and/or don't want to get involved because they knew the repercussions. I'm sorry for that long rant, but to try to answer that question, maybe not at first, but he wanted more. To become an artist wasn't enough for him. Greed is power to him. Let's say he did start his own club and not do the things that were mentioned. Would he have gotten far? Under Big Bang name, probably. But under his own name, he won't. He did it because he had nothing to lose. But let's say if GD started his own club under his own name, he has everything to lose. There's a lot going on with this, and it's sad to see it went down like that because he could have changed and done good. The scandal and reputation may not have started with him when it came to light, but it ended with him in full circle.

I've been a VIP since childhood. I never liked Seungri. He always gave me bad vibes, I remember being scolded by fellow people in the fandom when I revealed that back in the day. I remember thinking "why is He in the group?" When I first discovered BigBang 14 years ago. I tried to see what he adds to the group but whenever they make a comeback I keep asking to myself the same question and then I noticed that he tended to distance himself from the others when they were on stage like he was trying "shine brighter" than the others or he tended to be the center of atention when they were doing variaty shows. At some point I started to say "what a fake person" and when everything was discovered about the things he was doing I was surprised that the image that I had/have about Him was right. But then I felt sad because the band name was tarnished forever because of him.

When we are talking about the history of BIGBANG you can't really dodge Seungri and as a fandom we will never forgive him for what he did to BIGBANG's image. I am ashamed to admit that I did defend him originally when the accusations came out. The first BIGBANG song I ever listen to as a kid was Bae Bae and Seungri's solo at the end was my favorite part even though I didn't even know who the members were apart from G-Dragon. I will not defend Seungri in anyway, he was deplorable and the reason why BIGBANG is basically dead was because of him. No matter how much I hate him, I have come to accept that he will forever be apart of BIGBANG's history and their music despite the scandal.

I was a big big fan of big bang and I always said to myself that seungri Was unnecessary to the group. For me I always saw him as a member who didn’t bring much to the group and mind you that back then while I was thinking that I kind of felt bad for him because I thought he was one of those members from a group who never receives that much love as the other. (As we seen with other groups where members who are not monsters like seungri, not receiving much attention or love like the other group members) but I also remember when at the beginning the was somewhere I don’t know if it was in bigbabg tv or another show but they found in a closet I think some cds or movies I can’t remember but they found it and discovered that it was porn and said he liked that stuff kind of addictive to it and that set me off I began to have a strange feeling about him that he was weird. I think if I’m correct I few time that topic was touch and all he did was laugh and people around him as well probably because they didn’t think he was such a horrible pervert and persone. Plus I also remember that t.o.p, Gd and tae Yang had to kind of force seungri and daesung to hang out and eat together because in the group they barely hanged out. To me I think Daesung had a bad feeling about him that’s why. Overall when you think about everything, of how of an attention seeker he always was making us think it was because he unfairly was not receiving the attention he wanted and he’s weird way of being throughout the years makes soooo much sense now.

Wow, Seungri really sucks. But a key-note here is that Big Bang's relationship with Seungri already wasn't the best when the scandal happened. The other members were still pretty close to each other, but Seungri had visibly drifted apart from them, and they were just colleagues who never hung out together outside of shared schedules. There were no public statements by the members, simply because all of them were enlisted at the time. T.O.P. made like one Insta post shading him - didn't need more tbh, he'd already said on variety that he didn't like Seungri's friends and the events were just proving him right. Post scandal, Daesung basically doesn't mention Seungri at all - in a recent video about Bigbang, he essentially said that Bigbang is him, Taeyang and GD, and that TOP is a former member, but entirely avoided mentioning Seungri. The two were also. Visibly not on great terms even before burning sun (there's a concert of Daesung's where Seungri crashes the stage and you can visibly sense that Daesung is upset - it's such an odd vibe). And TOP, considering how much of a ghoul Seungri was about what happened in 2017. The Bigbang members had to end their enlistment in shame and hide away for YEARS (with 3 of them posting on insta and Daesung being MIA before his KZbin account was discovered!!!!) because of Seungri being such a terrible person. And he still has no shame, and is partying it up in SEA with his friends and fans??? That he still has????? Fuck him

Do you guys remember 2 days and 1 night? There was this episode where they welcomed this new actor in the serie. There it was the rock singer of the burningsun scandal (sorry im not good at remembering korean names but you probably know who and who I am talking about) I remember that in that episode the rock singer told the new member actor that he was “too much of a good guy” and that he would teach him to be “a bad guy” that sit me soooo wrong but everyone was laughing and making jokes about it…. Like the singer only said that because the actor was christian, had christian cross on his house, was very serious with exercise and did everything with energy… And he was the lazy character. Yet, back then I was… like that is not “just in the tv show” i sensed he meant it outside work, he would teach him to be “a bad boy” Back then I just imagined like having hookups with random women… which is already bad if you know that person takes their faith seriously. I just never imagined rape, prostitution, and videos.
