If you're using pure beef mince for your meatballs, you can add one or more eggs (depending on the amount you're making) to get the meat to stick together better and not dry out while you're cooking them. But you add the egg INTO the mixture before rolling balls, you don't dip...

She's cooking chips 🍟 (French fries to you) in a chip pan of hot oil, in a basket that you lift the chips out of the hot oil ... that's the way you cook fried foods at home in Europe. When you make meatballs, you can use a small amount of egg as a binder so they don't fall apart whilst also retaining their moisture.... however.. what she has done is make egg coated meat lumps!!! 🤢

There's also the fact of using bread crumbs (or crushed unsalted crackers) to make it a less lumpy texture. Then mash and mix it to have it all as one combined mass. If done right there should be no chunk of meat leftover from the bowl, no chunks falling apart and CERTAINLY no glob of beaten eggs leftover in the bowl. Kinda like a sausage without the lamb skin to cover it.

As a swede my heart hurts. Making meatballs is so EASY. You put the meat in a bowl, add one egg or two to bind it, salt and pepper and maybe some garlic to taste. Mix it with your hands and then roll it into balls and then fry them in a pan.

I literally won contests with my chili for the "flavor" category but lost in the "presentation" category it doesn't matter how hard we try we just don't have the artistic ability to make it visually appealing...I'm not saying that kay is one of those people i'm just saying that some people can't domante both categories no matter how hard they try. The “C4” strapped to the wall 😂..is in fact the electrical switch for her cooker/stove.. in the uk, by law, houses need to have an independent switch for the current going to electrical cookers.
