My husband and I are raising our two boys in church, in the woods and on the water ! It’s a blessing and and an honor to be able to watch you guys. Blue Gabe got an idea for you guys. Why not have a lion fish round up. Make it into a tournament of sorts for all your fans. Ask the sponsors and maybe get some local tackle shops etc.. to throw in prizes. If you have a spot where you can hold a fish fry maybe have something like that at the end of tournament. You guys talk up Publix non stop see if they would supply potato salad, Cole slaw there sweet tea etc.... and if lion fish is maybe to dangerous of a target then maybe do it with one of the other very invasive species. just a thought . I would think that would make insane content that your fans would love.

You were talking about alligator pocket books back in the day. My Mom had one someone gave to her in the late 60's. It was made with real alligator hyde and had a taxidermist-treated baby alligator attached on the outside of it. You are right. They were popular in Florida in the 60's 70's.

Hello, I have never been to Florida, and now my family wants to go to Florida for a vacation last year but due to Covid we’ve stayed home. Your videos has kept me “getting by” the urge of fishing. I caught an opossum on the way to the Astrodome in Houston with my band. Caught it in a friends yard while waiting for the school bus. I put it in a paper bag and when we stopped to pick up band members, I would say, Look what I brought for lunch! Then I would open the bag and the possum was frozen with a snarl on its face. Heard a few screams that morning! Lol. I did chicken out, though before we got to Houston. I was afraid it would pee on me, so on one of our stops, I threw it out.

We have a species similar in Australia called a Happy Moment. Don't know how you could call it that because you don't find it a very happy moment if the spikes on it back stick into your body. Similar description of the pain as the Lion fish where it feels like a hot knife sticking into the location of the spikes and dragging it along from there.
