I still think his first LTTP chest in the Metroid/Zelda randomizer is the best, as he straight up threw off his headphones and left to scream and his face was beet red when he came back.

The problem with randomizers is that difficulty progression tends to be very backwards when it comes to survival. A huge struggle early on because you're having to tackle mid-to-late game challenges with almost no resources, but then you ultimately wind up overpowered trying to find the things you actually need.

14:39 In the vanilla game and regular randomizer mode, if you had beaten Agahnim and whenever you save and quit in the dark world (& with a mirror?), you do not get a choice of a location in the light world and instead are put on top of the dark world pyramid. The developers just imitate it inverted in this mode.

You can get into a few rooms of turtle rock if you fall to the caves on the Cliff in the light world then use the mirror, you can grab a few chest to see if there is anything in them you need them you can get like 5,6 chest I think.

There should be a way to do that in Customizer or a Plando seed. There is also a mod called "true Ice Rod hunt" that gives you everything to start but the Ice Rod and hides it "somewhere" before Trinexx and the goal is to find it to finish the seed. That's what I'd love to see Jared try next play through. Muuwahaha!

I think it depends on the randomizer options, but at least in some modes getting the compass will add a chest counter to it's dungeon. That's how it is in "Keysanity" mode anyway. (That mode allows keys, compasses, and maps to be found outside their respective dungeons).

@@kiwirar5885 I've said this on many other videos, but I'll reiterate here. He doesn't technically need them. You can kill ganon without them. However, phase 4 spin strats are not really something you would know unless you play or watch a lot of ALttPR, so I don't imagine or expect him to know about it. That said, he DID mention last episode that he knows you can fight ganon and he'll tell you where the arrows are (after the 4th hit in phase 3). So he already knows he wouldn't need to randomly search for them, he can narrow down the location. However, given that a very large chunk of the remaining checks are in GT, it's likely that silvers are in there anyway
