Before we were ( permanently) hired as assistant animators , we had to show what we can do and draw. Then we have an entrance test. If we pass we go thru a month of training. We were given an " allowance" and free meals. Some of us pass , but if you are still quite raw they still give you extra time ,but after that. Out! And as for the ones who pass, we were given 6 months " observation" with pay. And after that we were given pay adjustment but still , they'll be watching your performance. And your output.

Recently Rob's been pretty good sport about his shortcomings, running with the jokes and rolling with the punches. Good dude, it seems he really matured and humbled since those early Image days

I don't know much about him from his Image days besides what I've looked up, but I do agree that he does seem to be rolling with the punches with the jokes about his drawings. Appreciate you watching and taking the time to leave a comment 👊

in his defense he never had any classical training and he is or at least was focused more on the money aspect which is why he lets his stories turn into absolute shit and his art began to slowly get worse and worse for a while. it was quantity over quality. NO WONDER HE STILL WORKS FOR MARVEL

Love this video. The "Rob Liefeld feet thing" is well documented, but I can't remember any of the comic book nerds that I follow discuss it ("nerd" obviously said with respect). You feature a lot of first generation X-Force, and I see Rusty and Skids. For every Cable and Deadpool that Liefeld created, there were a lot of one-off characters. I think maybe Grizzly is one that you show. Also that looks like Jim Lee's Zaladane, but that doesn't quite make sense. And if you talk about Rob Liefeld, you mustn't forget all of the pouches. Sooo many pouches.
@MusclesAndTheMultiverse8 ай бұрын
I'd agree that I haven't seen many other comictubers talk about it either. Totally get that "nerd" is said with respect 😎 And I didn't know that Liefeld created that many 1-off characters. And yes doing my research there were lots of talks about pouches but I decided to forgo that little detail haha. As always, appreciate you watching!!

First, I applaud you for making your own comic, that's dope! And I am by no means an artist by any stretch of the imagination, but you'd think he'd at least try to be a little bit better over time especially with the success he's had.

My understanding is that it was based on a real Arnold Schwarzenegger pose, but he didn't notice that Arnold's hands were empty, whereas Cap was holding a shield at his side, which let one of them pull it off with angles.
