for those confused washing-up liquid is what is used to wash dishes. It's just soap, it doesn't contain bleach, which is why he did not die lol I think the US equivalent is Dawn soap

Listening to this reminded me of a story my dad told about my Grandpa. So when my dad was little Grandpa went out with some friends to drink and that night he came home very drunk. When he woke up the next morning he had such a bad hangover that from then on Grandpa decided to NEVER drink ever again. ......So yeah, that was the story of how my Grandpa never had alcohol again.

When I was young I chewed on a Battery for some reason and it popped so the worst thing I ever “drank” was battery acid. Luckily I wasn’t poisoned or have any internal damage.

i never did that, but i always loved licking 9 volts when i was young ,when i was in my older teens i was sitting on the couch and licking one idly while watching tv,my dad looked over and said "careful you don't get it too wet or it'll explode" i thought he was joking,plus I'd been doing this all my life,thousands of times, i thought, no way something that's never happened would suddenly occur that makes no sense. several minutes later im still occasionally licking the battery,i set in down on my leg and keep watching tv,fast forward maybe 30 seconds, and boom,suddenly a very loud poppng sound went off and i flinched and looked down at my leg just to see the 9 volt all puffed up and "exploded" suffice to say I've never licked one since then, it didn't hurt me but the idea of it doing that in my mouth?... ugh no thanks... not tempting fate like that, i test life enough as it is.

​@@ROY57ONno, washing up liquid in the UK is what you wash dishes with. The main brand is called fairy liquid. It's literally just soap and it isn't poisonous or hazardous

To be fair to tequila, it's the bar rail cheap still that tastes terrible. A nice reposado or anejo is aged in barrels and is more like a whiskey-esqe tequila

Never drank any washing up liquid, but i did ALMOST eat the hyper toxic goo that was inside those old stretch armstrong toys, was more of a solid mass though so i didn't ingest any, just tasted the most FOUL thing ever, think i was like 4-5

the way my friend and i drank tequila many years ago, we drank by holding two bottles, tequila and ice tea,we'd take a small sip of tea,dump tequila in with it and drink,then wash it down with ice tea.
