My favorite part about these guys is that one acts completely reasonable for the situation meanwhile the other is like “kids growing, happens normally, just see a therapist” and in other videos he just casually accepts an eldritch abomination is in the house and is like “dude chill out stop insulting the disabled” And the best part is this character trait swaps between them, in one vid Parker is scared and the other he’s all “business as usual”

They only exist at night, you rarely ever see the day in their videos it's always pitch black and they never accomplish anything at the houses they visit lmao. I feel like this is meant to be a "baby's first scary series" as i'm just going to assume they *could* do much better, such as removing the 4th wall breaking intro and making the dialogue less blunt, but chose not to since they know they want to hook in the 12 year olds who are too scared to watch other analogue horror series which only play it completely straight. They do things like mix good horror elements with the classic 'whats up guys' persona for this exact purpose. The whole persona exists to give the viewer a 'friend' to experience the content alongside almost as if the viewer is a 3rd member of the group, compare it to things like that backroom series and the mandella effect who either don't have a central protaganist to follow or give you multiple points of focus knowing most if not all will likely get oof-ed. Quite a clever angle to exploit f I'll be honest. I bet in 6 years there will be a wave of nostalgia for this series, with many citing it as their first into the genre beyond fnaf let's plays.

The absolute most annoying part of his content is that the monsters are actually well designed for the most, it's just the dialogue and use of "OMG! GHOST IN MY HOUSE AT 3 AM?!!!"-style of video really takes away from the horror. Honestly, if you just blur their faces and mute their dialogue, replacing it with subtitles, the videos would be fine, clickbaity titles aside.
