Ive been listeneing to the Lord regarding Israel.. Isaiah Jeremiah and Ezekiel.. quite clear God spoke of outporing desolation upon Jerusalem and exile 9f his people. That there were two groups evil and good. The good he would give them favour in exile, the evil he would pogrom. Then eventually God would turn back his mercy upon them and bring them back to the land he promised their fathers. This desolation is spoken of in Daniel 9: 27. and is marked by the destruction of both the city and Temple in AD 70. But this desolation is for many days, war is decreed , the Gentiles would tread underfoot Jerusalem during Israels exile. Israel would have to endure Gods indignation but that he would eventually show mercy restore them to the land of promise, having exorcised them from idolatry and untie them with one identity. No more are Jews anything but Jews. God said he would gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle. That the nations would exhalt themselves in Israels exile and treat them spitefully. That the gentiles would attempt to destroy them as a nation. So God would judge the Gentiles who mistreat them. God will rise up to fight against the nations who come to destroy his people, and then they will see the one who came is the one their fathers pierced.

@@therealjakedean3317 YHVH foretold Israels destruction 2 times and the restoration, conversion. Jesus made the new covenant in his blood , abolished the token elements of the Sinai covenant. Jesus established the true Temple the Church. The Stone Temple became the symbol of Jewish rebellion against Messiah. Stephen was martyred for prea hing the Temples destruction. Paul also preached the same. 40 yrs after Jesus made the new covenant the desolation spoken of by the prophets began. In 70 AD Titus destroyed Jerusalem and the Temple. There is talk of rebuilding the Temple. I am of the opinion this is the abomination of desolation..the Temple defies the covenant of Jesus Christ. A new Temple would require a revived priesthood, with a reinstalled High Priest, despite the desecration of this office when Caiaphas tore his robes, an act forbidden by the law. So a revived High Priest is blasphemy against Jesus, the eternal HP.

@@Exodus--bx3dd Luke says at the destruction of the very temple the disciples marveled at would be the fulfillment of all things written. Can you provide one text that predicts Christ coming in the long distant future or says Christ would delay His imminent coming? Just 1

@@Exodus--bx3dd the purpose of my original comment is to show the whole premise is wrong. Gods people are not ethnically based anymore. You can’t say God will punish these nations (not His people) for doing X to this nation Israel (which is His people.) The NT speaks in detail regarding the NT saints being in the last days - Christ told them again and again they would witness all the signs and all things would be fulfilled in their generation. The mosaic age was closing then and is now closed. There is no more discriminationmination between these peoples and those peoples. We are in the age of Christ where all peoples have been reconciled to Him.
