Hands down my favorite unboxing of a new console I have ever experienced. Seamless setup from my Xbox one through the Xbox app and was able to setup game sharing the same way I had it on my old console which, my game sharing partner bought a series X the same day XD. Having never played the series S I can say I'm happy with spending the extra $200 for the series X just based on graphical performance and storage space not to mention, it looks better than any other console on the market (sorry not sorry). I feel that the PS5 was built to take off from launch where the Xbox was built to take over 1/4 to 1/2 the way through it's lifespan. Literally everyone I know with a current gen console has a PS5 and I wanted to be different plus I have my whole ecosystem set up through Microsoft. But, my biggest reason was the Xbox controller is way more ergonomic than a PlayStation controller, my hands cramp up after playing for 30 mins which is not fun at all.

@@jdxcoffee amongst my colleagues the series s seems to be the go to console primarily for its form factor but also for its quality of life features 👀 loading times, quick resume diskless/m. 2 ssd so no moving parts except for cooling (less chance of mechanical breakdown)

Once you go series x from S you will not want to go back. The 120hz and 4K gaming is night and day not to forget your disc drive to preserve your past generations.

@@jdxcoffee looking forward to seeing your follow up. I have both I use my S when I go somewhere and my X is my daily on my Samsung 55 QN90A with surround sound. Dolby atmos is definitely a must! The S is good don’t get me wrong, it’s affordable, portable, and good for people that want to try Xbox for the first time or for kids. But if you’ve been with Xbox since the original like myself the X is the no brainer. It’s great how my old fusion frenzy disc plays instantly and better!

I have both series s and x. They are both awesome. I also have a ps5 and it collects dust 🤷‍♂️. Games pass is nice. Have a portable monitor for the series s and it makes it a pretty great portable console I wish it had a USB c port so I didn't have to have 2 cables to run it tho. Can't go wrong with any of the new consoles . Ps5 is nice too I just really am digging gamepass right now and halo infinite is alot of fun. If you are on a budget I would say pick up a series s. It's a pretty good bang for your buck. If you have the money and a 4k TV 120 hz get a series x or ps5 u can definitely see and feel the difference. I think the series s might struggle in a few years but right now it has acceptable performance for the price. Jumping from series s to series x is also seamless with cloud saves I am loving the whole experience. Been a gamer for 30 years off and on these new consoles are something to be excited about if they can make some worthy games. Nice video👍👍

Series x is packaged like a premium product and the ps5 unboxing experience was pretty bad. It's nice that Microsoft thought to make the unboxing a great experience for their customers. I've always been a Sony guy and didn't think the packaging was important till I bought my first xbox/ the series x....btw I'm loving the series x, and I can't say the same for my ps5. I feel like xbox is just killing it while the ps5 is just lacking

Julien, I used to sell a lot of batteries at RadioShack and believe it or not there’s only like 3 battery companies in America and they make all the big 3 batteries but also all of the “knock off” batteries so the knock off quality is almost identical so never feel bad about buying batteries that cost less.

I could not get the smartphone app connect my Wi-Fi to the Series X. So I connected it to my computer monitor and turned on the unit and did the connection through the setup on the Series X. It’s okay, but don’t really have much time for the smartphone app.

Hello everyone! Just wondering, my xbox series x power cable feels loose and wobbly on its port. Found out that some owners were also experiencing it. So last night I did try pushing it really hard and heard a “click” sound and looks like its snug in there. My problem now is I’m overthinking I might have broken the console’s power port 🙁. That's all down to your own gamer preferences. It's a very hard question to answer. Depends on so many things...Both are great consoles. But if you're wanting the best of the best and money isn't a problem, then go for the most powerful console, the Series X.
