I like your video very much. If you are still in Xinjiang, I strongly recommend you to go to "Ili City" in Xinjiang. There is "Sayram Lake" next to Ili City. It is the most famous scenic spot in China. You can use Google to search for "sayram lake china” can be found at this location, which is open to visitors from all over the world.

You have obviously identified the street signs and shop signs almost always contain Uyghur language scripts. I believe this is the greatest argument against Western medias slandering Chinese government conducting ethnic clenching against the Uyghurs. Would Hitler allow Hebrew writing on the Berlin street and shop signs during the Holocaust?

As a girl born and raised in Xinjiang, I was particularly moved by your video. ❤ I am a Han Chinese girl, but throughout my life, I have been surrounded by various ethnic minorities in my learning and growing environment, including Uyghur, Hui, Kazakh, Belarusian, Kyrgyz, etc. I also have great Uyghur friends who are hardworking and diligent, attending top universities in China. We are so confused by the false news portrayed by Western media. Thank you for showing the world the most authentic Urumqi. However, if you come to Xinjiang for travel, I strongly recommend visiting Altay region in winter, where the scenery is breathtaking. Skiing enthusiasts from all over the country come here every year. In summer, you can go to the Yili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture, which boasts the most beautiful grasslands and lakes in China. In autumn, head to Kashgar in southern Xinjiang, where the ethnic atmosphere and local customs are the richest.

I flew directly from Taiwan to Urumqi to do research back in 2016. Went all along the borders and deep into the desert by camels, horses, cars, and train. Absolutely loved the food, scenery, and people there. It's amusing how the west can't even keep their lies consistent. First, they said there were 2 million slaughtered. Then they changed their script saying people weren't killed but were forced into cotton picking. Now their narrative took a wild turn again, claiming that the local languages and religions are being destroyed. Next they are probably gonna make up a story about the LGBTQ+ community being forcefully deported to grow potatoes on mars.

In 2009, terrorism supported by the United States entered Xinjiang from overseas and attacked civilians in Urumqi, setting fires, smashing, and indiscriminately attacking civilians on the streets. At that time, my classmate's girlfriend was hiding in a clothing store, and I was studying in Beijing at that time. Fortunately, his girlfriend was fine. Now Xinjiang is the safest place in the world, and the West is very angry that their conspiracy did not succeed, so they smear China and smear Xinjiang. Another reason is that the quality of Xinjiang cotton is the best in the world, which is despised by the West and affects the interests of Jewish tycoons. Therefore, the United States uses lies to strangle the economy of Xinjiang people

28 FEBRUARY 2022 500 million dollars. That's the sum of money the US congress planned to allocate to churn out negative news coverage on China. First reported by American Prospect on Feb. 9, the bill was stuffed into the China-centered America COMPETES Act that just got passed by the US House of Representatives earlier this month. A majority of the half-billion-dollar fund will go to the US Agency for Global Media (USAGM), a state-run media service that oversees Voice of America (VOA), Radio Free Europe (RFE), and Radio Free Asia (RFA), which have a record of "blurring the line between objective news coverage and pro-American propaganda," the article wrote.

Genocide in Xinjiang is a simple lie. In 1949, the Uyghur population was only 3 million, with an average life expectancy of only 30 years, and almost no college students. But now, the Uyghur population in Xinjiang is 13 million, with an average life expectancy of 79 years. A considerable number of young Uyghurs have received higher education. China's most popular female star, Dilireba, is also a Uyghur. Are these changes caused by genocide policies? On the contrary, the Chinese government has done a lot of support for Xinjiang.

I lived in the UK most of my life until 6 years ago when we moved to Hong Kong. I remember the first time I went to mainland China I was so scared because living in the UK you are painted this picture that in China the police follow you around, everyone is depressed, there is no free speech, heavy censorship etc. But when I got there, there was zero restrictions or censorship on my roaming mobile, everyone was lively and just normal, the police were helping old ladies and people with directions... It was normal. But what really changef my perception was what happened in Hong Kong and how the Western media, governments and even online mods on Wikipedia, twisted facts and reality... And also the sheer effect of misinformation. What was being reported was very different to what was reality and it made me so angry that innocent elderly people, women and even children were being racially targeted and assaulted, whilst Congress cheered on and the UK government welcomed the same ringleaders that literally called people to violently attack any Mandarin speaking person on the street, attack businesses, friends, family and neighbours that do not express support their cause. They even murdered an old man, and attempted to murder three other people, put a dozen people in comas. They were plain thugs.

The last terrorist attack in Xinjiang was 2015 and there hasnt been any since 2016. Better to be safe than sorry, hence the armoured car. Xinjiang has been part of China from as far back as Han Dynasty (about 2,000 yrs ago). Islam only came into China somewhere in 625 AD. Thus, China is the earliest nation to have Muslims outside the middle east. Fyi, Xinjiang is not the first province to have Muslims, its Guangzhou. The Western propaganda is full of crap. Food for thought, the US has been invited numerous times to send officials to Xinjiang but no one bothered, why??? Because they know that they have been spreading lies about Xinjiang. The security is for the safety of the people. Btw, there are over 39,000 mosques in China and 24,100 in Xinjiang. The Uighurs in America today are relatives and descendants of Uighur Terrorists and they couldn't return to China. There are still about 10,000 Uighur terrorists fighting in Syria together with ISIS, funded by the US govt.

call me nitpicking. but i hv to point out your statement is not entirely correct. uighurs are not like native americans. they were not native to xinjiang. they were settlers too. they migrated from mongolian plateau to xinjiang around 900AD. han chinese began to rule and settle xinjiang in 200BC, which was 1000 yrs earlier than uighurs settled the region. the thing is that xinjiang region of china has been a crossroad of multiple ethnicities and nomadic people in the past 2500 yrs. the earlist settlers of xinjiang were possibly proto east-persians. then chinese came in 200BC. then turkic tribes came. then chinese came again in 600AD. then uighurs came in 800AD. then mongols came in 1300AD. historically the region was ruled mostly by chinese, mongols, and various turkic tribes.

As a Chinese sometimes I really don’t understand western people feel unsafe when they see military or police in the cities. Chinese people would consider this the safest and most reliable security measure, more dependable than any commercial security services. In any dangerous situation, we are more likely to seek help from the police or military personnel. Because soldiers have strict regulations that absolutely forbid harming ordinary civilians. This makes it much safer compared to the frequent incidents of car break-ins or robberies.

Literally no sign of genocide but as a Muslim who's been to China, I know that in Xinjiang religion is monitored but I can tell you it's waaaaay less monitored compared to the heavy monitoring in the USA and even Canada. A lot of terrorism took place in Xinjiang by US funded separatists and these same radicalized paid Uyghurs were sent to Syria to fight for ISIS to overthrow the Syrian govt and then returned to create more chaos. That's why you see the heavy police presence, it's sooooo much safer there now than it ever has been. I feel safer in China, than I do in vancouver downtown, you will never catch me walking downtown Vancouver. IF anyone is curious to see if a genocide is taking place in Xingjiang, simply read the bombshell report done by Grayzone and Adrian Senz (the paid for Islamophobic war monger who supports Israel) who made the report in the first place, based on the testimony of 8 separatists who were found to have ties to CIA funded groups. Let that marinate for anyone who's wondering where the genocide might be.

83 minutes of pure goodness! and I know this will get you a silver button!😄 obviously haven't watched it all yet but I thought I'll give you a little back history. all the security is really legacy from extremists activity over a decade ago. there really hasn't been any incidents in the past ten years so it's as safe as anywhere else. before then, there were pretty horrible terrorist incidents throughout china, many caught on video but I'll spare you the details. what you see is how china dealt with it, with butter, not guns. build up infrastructure, provide services, jobs, etc in hopes a higher quality of life solves social issues. a lot of what china did was just twisted by the west. an example is providing education such as teaching mandarin so the locals could integrate more with the rest of china and thus have better business opportunities. this portrayed as 'cultural genocide' by western media. there are even worse examples of how things were twisted in such a way it's outright lies but enough of this. there is no perfect solution but it's better than dropping bombs. anyways enjoy your stay! xinjiang is actually a big tourist destination for local chinese.

In China, every university (and even many middle or high schools) has Halal canteen, normally separate from (sometimes nested in) the main canteen. Minority students (including the muslim minorities like Hui and Uygur) enjoy a few bonus points in their University entrance exam, which is usually causing Han students to envy...

so happy that you finally get to xinjiang. fun fact: there are 40,000 mosques accross china and almost 50% of them are in xinjiang. cmiiw. islam has been in china since the tang dynasty 618-907. many uneducated people would question "why no muslim women wear hijab in xinjiang/china?". well not everyone practice their religions, it happens in all religious believers. i may be wrong but the hui people, in my opinion, are more religious than the uighurs. i see alot of hui women that wear hijab. anyways, enjoy your time in xinjjiang, hope to see your vlogs in yunnan😊❤

Thank you for visiting! China welcomes everyone! Xinjiang has been invaded by terrorist attacks, so security is very strict. Please don't be biased against Muslims. My friends in Xinjiang told me that the original intention of Muslims is peace. Many terrorists do not read the Quran and just listen to the lies of jihad. Recently we have seen many students protesting against the government’s massacre. We Chinese know that children who live in information cocoons all year round are very courageous and just. Fortunately, China is also on the side of justice and is with you. Let’s support Palestine together and establish a two-state solution. China has experienced hundreds of years of aggression since the Opium War. Our homeland was also like Gaza. We were ruthlessly massacred. My hometown was bombed by Japan for five years and 10 months. I hope that the children of Palestine are as happy as the children of Xinjiang, and that the future of all bullied countries is as promising as that of China.

I would also like to mention that because of the recent opening of the 144-hour visa to more countries, more friends are traveling to Xinjiang from all over the world. They wonder and are confused as to why they often see police officers patrolling and police cars patrolling in Xinjiang. This is because those violent terrorist attacks have caused too much damage to Xinjiang, and the presence of police vehicles makes it quicker to respond to unexpected situations.

As a Chinese born and raised in China, I am now studying abroad. I must say that in Xinjiang, Tibet and other ethnic minority areas, people have a lot more benefits in their working life than in other areas. Ethnic minority students have extra points in college, and the pension is among the top three in the country. It is hard to imagine that the Western media should compare Xinjiang to Gaza where the massacre was inhumane?? 😡There are 56 ethnic groups in China, my mother is Hui and believes in Islam, and my father is Manchu. The harmonious life of all ethnic groups in China is never mentioned in Western media.😢

Actually thirty years ago, Urumqi was already a very developed large city in China. As an important hub of the Silk Road, it was called the Pearl of the West. Xinjiang is very safe and local people are very friendly there. Don't listen to wester media told you, just believe what you feel and see. Xinjiang is very rich in natural resources, such as fruits (Korla fragrant pear, Turpan grape, Aksu apples, Hami melon, watermelon, pomegranate), nuts, cotton. There are many beautiful and famous grasslands in Xinjiang as well, such as Nalati grassland, Bayanbulak grassland, swan lake, Kanas resort, etc. Xinjiang cuisine is very popular in China. Sheep and cattle are the most commonly eaten delicacies in Xinjiang. It is recommended to try the 大盘鸡皮带面,烤羊肉,抓饭,烤包子,拌面炒面,凉皮子,新疆炒米粉:) Hope you guys have a great time in Xinjiang! Buy some beautiful handicrafts before you back cause they are treasures:)

In 2022 and 2023, my friends and I drove about 3000 kilometers in Xinjiang, visiting many places. Chinese people say "Beautiful Xinjiang," meaning that Xinjiang is vast and has incredibly beautiful scenery. Xinjiang is home to many ethnic groups, each with its own cultural characteristics. I filmed hundreds of short videos and plan to organize them to post on TikTok or KZbin. Foreign friends are very welcome to visit Xinjiang, but please allow yourself at least two months. Xinjiang is so vast, with rich culture and scenery. Even if you spend two weeks like us in Xinjiang, it's not enough to fully enjoy the beautiful landscapes and culture.
